you might get more money parting out some parts |
First off, welcome back man and thanks for your service. The problem with selling a customized car is that it is your vision and others may not share it. That is why a lot of people part their cars out and get them back to stock before they sell them. Though your car sounds pretty nice. Post some pics if you have them. Try blue booking it on kbb.com as if it were stock. Then add what you think is a reasonable premium for your mods. If it does not sell then part out your mods and put it back up for sale. Good luck. |
you'll make more money if you take the time to put the car back at stock. A modified car normally brings up the mental image of it being raced. And no one wants to buy a beat up car. So do yourself and your bank account a favor and take all that stuff off before selling. |
part it out ans kbb.com |
first nobody wants a modded car. chances are the owner beat on it all the time (assumption). second, those mods are not worth anything. nobody pays for extra mods unless you trade it in to the dealer with oem accessories. |
$11,000 |

2001 LX Coupe 48000 Miles |
well blue book value is $10100 in my area code for your car, if you part out first and then go back to stock, you could do better, since your paints custom, you probly dont have the oem front bumper and rear bumper in the same color, so youl probly have to leave them on, but everything else you can do pretty good on this site with and then just take your car to carmax, theyd probly give you $9,500 -$10,000 for it |
