i ordered an OEM "2004 Civic 4 door bumper cover" monday and they said i would have to pay $125 in an "oversized" shipping charge for them to able to ship it out. was just wondering if this is BS or not, cuz i can get an aftermarket one from ebay for about the same price inc shipping. someone help me out, thanks

Majestic will charge a lot for shipping! No, it's not BS....... thats the way they are. They will judge by weight and size box they ship it with.

they're not that hard about WEIGHT..

i remember buying 2 rear drums, pads, all weather carpet, and other heavy parts from them....shipping was only $15

ok, to save myself some money... either way im having a professional paint shop do the paint job, but is it worth the extra change to go with OEM or will this work fine.

I don't know if I will every buy anything from them again. I purchased an oem foglight switch and the platsic clip that fills the hole for the switchfrom them. My total purchase price was $15.00 after shipping they my charge was $32.00. They didn't even send me the total until after it shipped. I would have saved
$5.00 if I had gone to my local dealership.

it might b okay to go with them but u never know the quality of the bumper or wat shape its in. for me i would pay that extra with majestic + they come pre painted and i know for a fact that im getting wat i want.

sen_one:knowing honda dealerships they would prob have to order that part and you would have to pay for shipping so it prob will b around the same price as majestic. i just wanted some bolts and they didnt even have that part nor did they have a brake booster hose. i try to avoid the dealership as much as possible.

when i ordered my aero kit front lip i had to pay extra for shipping too, it came perfectly painted and was shipped great so i didnt mind

they gaurantee brand new, in box... majestic does not come pre-painted, both come with the matte black primer, im just wondering like the difference between OEM and aftermarket from ebay. what problems will i have to face, and will it look different. also i have OEM foglights ready to go in, so will those be mounted the same as aftermarket vs. OEM from majestic. im just kinda new to this whole ebay/aftermarket deal. thanks for all your help

the ebay one is aite but just go with majestic then you dont have to worry about quality or anything but you do pay extra but better to be safe than sorry :D
