Some pics of my ride....

Haven't really done much since my other pics. All did was get fatter tires and had to raise the car a lil since it was so low and now i dont scrape at all really. Just hit the fender sometimes when i hit bumps cuz the tires are wide and the fender aren't rolled. No future plans now, want a turbo though but i dont think its feasible for a daily driver right now.

nice pics man!!! i love the gt3 on your ride

phuviano 07-25-2006 12:18 PM

car looks good. Its stands out from the rest. You don't see too many cars that look like this. Good job on creating a look that's not so typical. I also like the GT3's on your ride. Most people with black vics would get black, or gunmetal rims.

mikem317 07-25-2006 12:21 PM

Not a big fan of the odd color rims. Nice headlights!

flipmoderacer02 07-25-2006 12:38 PM

looks good, the red rims make your car stand out

X0DuZz 07-25-2006 02:40 PM

ur car does look good...but same here i perfer the non colored rims. i would say some bronze rims on ur car would be good :D

Suzy Q 07-25-2006 02:46 PM

i agree with the bronze. red isnt my thing, but still looks good.
as long as you like it, who cares right?

RHCP0801 07-25-2006 02:53 PM

i think it looks amazing with the red wheels, good job :sweet:

kirks04ex 07-25-2006 02:57 PM

not retrofitted headlights sorry. Also the rims, i got the red once the red gt3's were released. The first one on this site to get them a long time ago. I think the red stand out and whenever u ask someone, there like, oh you got the red rims. Its kinda like, yea thats my car, u cant miss it. Plus i think it matches the color scheme of black and red. Also does well with the taillights that are red and everything else is black. Pretty much done nothing to it in like a yr or so cuz in a year i might sell it or part it out and sell it then get a new car cuz ill be out of school and making lots of changes, but we'll see. More money, better car, house, etc, u get the drift.

i dont want to be like every jane and doe. Everyones got black and bronze rims it seems these days. You need to seperate your car from the rest. This isn't China where we all have to conform to one standard. I think it makes my car different and no one else will be the same. Most people who know nothing will be like, give me black rims and then all of a sudden there a tuner or car enthusiast. I just see it so common everywhere here, that i dont want to follow the crowd. Plus i can find my car easier at a parking lot at night cuz the red just shines, haha, j/k.

X0DuZz 07-25-2006 04:28 PM

well i was just going to say...what flows wid ur car....red is like kinda out there?

soldierboi 07-25-2006 05:00 PM

Mutha Fn FBM 85 07-25-2006 05:09 PM

nope, only 16's. I use to have 215/40/16, kinda tiny tires and it was like a lot lower, but i decided for fatter tires to fill the wheel well and also raise the car a little since i drive it daily and the roads suck up in the northeast especially during the winter time. Also tons of ripped up roads.

HonCivX02 07-25-2006 09:15 PM

Looks good dude! The rims maybe should be changed to some bronze 18's. I think it would go with the over all look of the car better. but it still looks good!

def01tones 07-26-2006 04:59 AM

wow lot of mixed opinions about ur ride. i for one love it!

but where im from, those rims are everwhere. urs is the first 7thgen i seen with them.

Tnsmongoose 07-26-2006 01:39 PM

damn this ride is tight but dump the rims ...

redem2 07-26-2006 02:06 PM

nice

familycar 07-26-2006 02:31 PM

rims look good. i am not a fan of big body kits though. i will say that the people that suggest 18" rims obviously havent ever had them on a 7thgen. i have a set on now and wish i wuld have at least got a 17" if not 16". tires size is very limited and ride quality is also compromised. they look good but over all smaller rims are better for many reasons. i think your ride looks good though!!

02BLKCIVIC 07-26-2006 05:11 PM

Wheels look great

not feeling the body kit tho...

cool car!

Civicman1988 07-26-2006 06:20 PM

Hayz 07-26-2006 06:29 PM

Civicman1988 07-26-2006 06:56 PM

I got the rims from urbanimport but i wouldn't recommend getting them from them. Just a big hassle. Got them mounted and with tires as well, had marks on the inside from the mounting and also they left them outside at the wrong house for 3 days in the pouring rain. Not happy about that. Got them when they first came out. Also, the first tires i got were falken ziex 512, but i put on bridgestone potenza g009 and the ride is a amazingly better. I think cuz there thicker and wider and not as thin as the falkens. Rides a whole lot better too if ur looking for tires. There all season too. I paid around 115 per tire i believe. They last 60k i think too or more. Lastly, dont get tuner lug nuts. I got the kyokugen and they stripped 3 times on these wheels. Pain the butt. I went back to plain OEM and some mcgards and there no problem now. Sometimes those fancy tuner lug nuts that are tiny aren't worth it. I hate when they strip, then your totally screwed. The paint on them i think just isn't that strong or the material and also the key wasn't a perfect match or fit snugly that came with it. End of rant haha.

armieo 07-27-2006 12:07 AM

Sweet... though I think OEM blacked out lights would make your car look meaner.

TheSmuggler 07-27-2006 06:41 PM

It's odd seeing these rims on a car with a full bodykit that's that aggresive looking.
