RHCP0801 07-20-2006 02:21 PM

looks really good man, your car looks so low already, how do you drive in jersey like that? when i was going in to NJ it was hell on my car and i have a finger gap

varner88 07-20-2006 02:23 PM

lol im in south jersey roads arnt to bad and if you drive like ur in japan you avoid every lil bump in the road by swerving hah plus you get to know the roads and kno wherebig bumps are and small bumps and if you watch carefully its not bad at all

but yea i need to lower the front jus a lil more

CenZ 07-20-2006 02:26 PM

well to get rid of the gap in the front for me. i just waiting for my shocks to blow. BAM no more gap lol.

varner88 07-20-2006 02:49 PM

varner88 07-20-2006 03:31 PM

the only problem i have is when i turn them on 1 bulb doesnt turn on either one side or the other but then when i turn it off then turn it back on they work and sumtimes it doesnt happen but most of the time it does.. idk..

ruffryde009 07-20-2006 03:34 PM

hm... definately return them or call him up.. hes a nice guy and will actually answer his phone too. I never had a problem with my HID's but what i really meant to say was on the legal side as well lol

gearbox 07-20-2006 03:37 PM

great another hid ricer blinding everyone. cant wait to get mine installed lol. rims look good. did your kit come with upgrade wire harness? you cant just run hid ballast off stock wiring or you'll end up with a small disaster pretty soon.

vacivic2005 07-20-2006 04:00 PM

nice what size tires?

The same thing happened to my old HID kit. Gearbox suggested I get a heavy duty harness because at the initial point of HID, it actually draws a massive amount of electricity, which our stock halogen harness cannot deliver. Your kit needs to be directly connected to the battery via a heavy gauge harness with relays for maximum power. Sure enough, the harness I bought worked pretty well - both lights turned on at the same time now. But occasionally, it would turn on one and not the other and I would have to do the same thing you did (turn on and off - bad for bulbs).

Anyway, I think there was something wrong with my old kit. Heard people with HIDs containing separate ballasts and ignitors tend to have that problem. I just bought a new bi-xenon type with a water-proof bulit in ballast and ignitor and so far so good :sweet:
