Well for the rust part, I think thats with any exhaust. its how you take care/ maintain it. [yes? no?]

MajinB 07-17-2006 01:29 AM

stainless steel don't rust. or at least im like 99 percent sure it don't. err

That's a decent setup but I'd prefer a custom 2 1/4 mandrel bent piping with muffler with that megan header IMO....I guess its all about personal preference....

Robearracing is a GOOD shop to buy from but haven't heard anything about the other one....GL!!!

MarkieMark 07-17-2006 03:41 AM

if i had the moolah i would go megan header w/ apexi ws2. :)
all personal preference. choose what you like.
im not sure about ordering from robear though..

Nyte 07-17-2006 07:54 AM

Yeah there're so many exhaust, so hard to choose from. >_<!!

I have the megan header with the megan cat back exhaust and love it. I am curious to know if there is a big difference from the guys with the 2.25 inch piping rather than the 2.5 that the megan has or maybe its just louder?

RHCP0801 07-17-2006 09:21 AM

if you want really loud and really deep go with the skunk 2 megapower....and when i mean loud i mean LOUD

exturbo6 07-17-2006 09:39 AM

Apexi.

Nah i want to get a low tone, i dont like the sound of loud mufflers. thats why i wanted to go with a rs-r exmag, cuz its one of the quietest ones on the market. or a tanabe.

exturbo6 07-17-2006 12:33 PM

loud sucks!

RHCP0801 07-17-2006 12:49 PM

not the skunk 2

supermex 07-17-2006 01:06 PM

Yeah I have heard that the coating on the RSR chips & then rusts. I do think it looks good though. If I was going to get a new exhaust I would probably be looking at the Greddy SP2. I think I have only seen 1 member with it, and it looks sick.
