on this http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/6673/dsc001722pu.jpg

what you guys think, im most likely gonna get it

ramcosca 06-25-2006 11:13 PM

Getting it is not a bad idea. Getting it on a car without skirts and lips/bumpers is a weird idea.

If you plan on building the car all-around (not only the front), get it. If not... it will look a bit weird.

BTW, those wheels look chopped. Are they?

blackonblack 06-25-2006 11:15 PM

There is a guy with a black 01-03 on cardomain.com who has that spoiler and I think it looks rad.

1sykcivic 06-25-2006 11:19 PM

no those are my rims, stupid camera phone, yea ill get a sides and rear after i get this, since im geting a good deal

sltuner88 06-25-2006 11:20 PM

yea man, its def. not a bad idea, but if you look at ur example picture youll see the vics got a body kit which makes it fit in. so my advice would be to get a kit first and then get the wing. oh..itll be hard finding the ones that OEM fit ours too....my .02

Rennen 06-25-2006 11:25 PM

no..

MYK1013 06-26-2006 12:13 AM

I would only advice u to get it if u have a full body kit on. Otherwise, it wouldn't look goon IMO. just my .02.

genexrocket 06-26-2006 01:45 AM

it jus doesn't flow with the body of a civic

boricua_civic 06-26-2006 02:36 AM

That spoiler will get stolen. But I admit it looks tight on that black vic, from that angle.

7thGenerasianCivic 06-26-2006 02:51 AM

I have a Dc2 Type R spoiler if you are interested. WIlling to ship. It fits

R3DL1N3 06-26-2006 03:06 AM

it looks disgusting on civics.

exturbo6 06-26-2006 07:18 AM

i dont think it looks bad with spoiler on the pic above. i think you could pull it off without a body it. but FYI that new body kit that cam out for our cars could be a idea to get with that spoiler.

RHCP0801 06-26-2006 07:27 AM

it looks ok on that car but you need like the perfect body kit, not just anyone to actually make it look good

aznboysrfr 06-26-2006 03:19 PM

I bought one from transform spoilers ... but I never really bolted it on. I got a lot of negative criticism from people [only online though. all of my friends, including my car friends and people from this site liked it], so I never actually used it .. it is currently sitting in my garage collecting dust. [anyone want to buy it?]

here is a pic of it just propped up onto my truck for a pic:

Hayz 06-26-2006 03:50 PM

looks good on some but like others said you need a good bodykit to flow with it...

bullet02ex 06-26-2006 05:41 PM

I think it looks sick on that black car. kinda makes me want one. where can you find them? and by the way yes my body kit and side skirts are in the mail so it will not look bad.

jrb121180 06-26-2006 05:50 PM

i say go for it

Someone already mentioned where you can find them... read.

sil04ver 06-26-2006 06:44 PM

Need the right bodykit and rims to go with it....and being slammed helps. Its a really agressive spoiler, so the rest of the car should look agressive.

fraga 06-26-2006 06:54 PM

Let's see...should you get a RSX Type R spoiler...my question would be...do you have an RSX Type R....

aznboysrfr 06-26-2006 07:07 PM

^ I don't think that's a very good argument.

people get type r grills, yet don't have type r's ... same goes with ferio/rs items, dc5r spoilers on dc5's, dc5-r rims on dc5's, si rims on non-si cars, etc ...

fraga 06-26-2006 07:13 PM

Not an arguement buddy...answer that question and you'll have my answer...that's it...

boricua_civic 06-26-2006 07:44 PM

The answer is no...

K20A_Wanabe 06-26-2006 07:48 PM

I got it on my ride but alot of people either love it or call it ricey.

TemjinX2 06-26-2006 08:27 PM

i like the oem civic one the best. Its subtle, but sporty...which is the style i like. If your going for really aggressive then it would fit into what your trying to do.

boricua_civic 06-26-2006 08:33 PM

You need to get a rear lip and sideskirts, cause that spoiler will look fugly without a complete bodykit. When you do that, then you should consider buying it. I have the Tsunami wing and a lot of members here fell in love with it, there arent many options, but it's your vic. My 2 cents.

ramcosca 06-26-2006 08:35 PM

Heh, two cents here, two cents there. You have like... 20 cents already!

Not enough to get yourself the spoiler, though.

burke420 06-26-2006 09:09 PM

well...like like HAYZ said

you need a good bodykit to flow with it...
and that's all you need! if you prop it on a civic with the stock everything, no body kit, lip kit etc... itll look odd. theyre will be to much flair on the wing to try and notice that it blends in. the black civic you posted from cardomain looks sweet. but ggod luck!
