yes sir it was my friends he works at a dealership so he sold it privately but through the dealsership so i was able to trade my car in..grand total i paid 8500 for this thing only has 58k for a 2000

i dont like the CF front..... but shiii is hottt

paint the car a grey to match the cf the red looks gay with a whole cf front. and i hope you have a warranty or money saved up when the tranny blows on you if you plan to race it. s2000 trannys suck and always break

Looks good. I'm assuming your friend had it at the car show at the fairgrounds a month or so ago. If so here is a better pic of it.

the car is nice, but the it's CF overkill. half of the car has 3 tones of CF and half red paint. it's not flowing at all. change that ugly duckling to a hot bitch! :D

honestly i dont; think i would want to drive with taht much CF, atleats around here the clear coat would crack extremly fast

man, i love s2ks, esp in red. cf front end is definitely unique.

The only thing I have ever head of S2000 trannies is that they shift PERFECTLY.

Its the rear differiential that is know to break, but thats only if you launch it all the time, and race it all the time.

you guys are the biggest ball busters. this guy is stoked on his new car and all you can do is tear it down. i like it. i don think it looks that bad at all. i think its a bummer that you just spent a bunch of money on a lot of mods and then traded the car in. you could have saved up tht cash and had money to invest into another car. now let me get this straight as well. you bought it through the dealer and paid $8500 total or $8500 after your trade in. if it was after then you got jacked if it was before then good deal. and how much did you get for your car??

He purchased it from his friend, who works at the dealership, THROUGH the dealership.
And $8500 after a trade in is not bad at all!

congrats on a great car. i love the car, one of the best cars i ever drove. but the cf is killing it. paint the cf red. or the rest of the car black.

at least paint the fenders and bumper. bumper looks purple.

he has an easy $9k car with about $10k in mods total and then he paid an additional $8500. that is not a good deal if you ask me. i would have tried to sell the car for more privately so i wouldnt have lost so much on the parts he had invested. they probably would give him the same amount for the car boosted or not. so he could have easily sold all the turbo parts for around $3-4k seperated and saved that much more. if this is the case. so paying $27k for a car that should sell for much less isnt a good deal if you ask me. i know you cant get the same for a car after its been modded but same goes for the s2k i would have gone mostly back to stock to sell and get a better trade in value and still sell everything to make more money back.

Putting 10K in mods does not mean the car is worth 10k more. It means the car is either worth a few thousand more, or maybe even less.
And the S2000 is woth a good amount of money. CF bodywork is nearly indestructable, although mods shouldnt add to the final cost of the car.

aw man thats too much CF...LOL when I had my s2k i had cf hardtop, hood and trunk and i thought that was alot...hahaha

dud it looks liek shit....im sorry the front looks pink bc whoever did the cf overlay was too lazy to spray the bumper black and the red is showing thru, the cf fenders are overkill. the hood is nice.....the car would look better if the fenders and bumer were painted....im sorry that bumper kilss it for me

Paint the bumper and fenders red and leave the hood as carbon fiber.
