RHCP0801 05-19-2006 02:18 PM

wow do you need a camber kit, looks good tho, what are you lowered on???

VTEK2k2 05-19-2006 02:21 PM

damn that is slamed! looks good

noVICe 05-19-2006 02:56 PM

thanks. yea i do need a camber kit right now.. lol. my fronts can go .5 inch lower and the rear 1.5 inches.. so its not quite slammed all the way..yet. :)

im lowered on ground controls

Da1lyDr1ver 05-19-2006 03:49 PM

i think once you get a camber kit (soon i hope), you should raise the rear up more. if you dont you might get rubbing issues from your rear fender lip. the exact thing happened to me in hard cornering and eventually took off the paint to bare metal. just a thought.

02BLKCIVIC 05-19-2006 04:00 PM

Please get rid of the mud flaps...

new rims would be nice!

But I do like a little camber on civics...

Although that is a-lot of camber!

hauliau 05-19-2006 04:11 PM

Hey, the car looks great!!! Only one thing weird, with the way you hang your plate.

noVICe 05-19-2006 04:44 PM

lol thanks guys, im going to get rid of the mudflaps as soon as i purchase the rest of my kit, which should be within the next month or so. i get paid tomarro so i should be buying a camber kit, and i still dont really know what i want to do concerning rims. i found a member of a local forum selling some gold 18's with a 2 inch polished lip. i want to pick tyhose up.

as for my plate, i removed it when i cleaned my car today, i just hang it there cuz cops around here are dicks about the front plate, and i cant find my mounting bracket.

thanks for the compliments guys

RHCP0801 05-19-2006 04:48 PM

how much finger gap is the front and rear?

02BLKCIVIC 05-19-2006 04:48 PM

Blah! 18's not really my cup of tea!

But hey what ever floats you boat...

hey noVICe..when you get your camber kit, snap some shots of the camber correction...i need one pretty badly, and im just wondering how much height you gain from correcting camber because im pretty low and i'd like to raise the height a little bit.

Buwisit 05-19-2006 05:02 PM

other than camber kit, it looks good!

noVICe 05-19-2006 05:25 PM

rhcp: the front has about a 1 finger gap and the rear has no gap
02blk: eh im still debating.. lol.
turbocharge: sure ill let you know as soon as it happens.. yes im riding pretty low as well, i still cant seem to 'master' angle driving over speedbumps without scraping.
oj: thanks! btw, is that ancient philippine script in your sig?

RHCP0801 05-19-2006 05:30 PM

damn that is very very low, my car is gonna be like 1 1/2 finger gap

Civicman1988 05-19-2006 05:42 PM

looks really nice

1sykcivic 05-19-2006 08:09 PM

is it me, or are those eyelids a bit to small and off

im on 15 inch Si rims on 195/50 tires and i scrape on some speedbumps but not badly...the thing is im getting a new exhaust and i dont want it to get dented from scraping and stuff...kinda nervous that it will hang too low :flush:

Syke Fu 05-19-2006 08:26 PM

Nice! Negative camber's gotta go though. :_doh:

djrabbi 05-20-2006 10:39 AM

u got the 01 eyebrows..... they look okay...... i have my license plate the same way since i have a lower grille........ but the drop looks good

SloCol-Vtec 05-20-2006 11:07 AM

looks good

you should only eyeball the camber as a temporary solution until you can get a professional alignment. When lowering a car, the caster is messed up as well. If you don't want to need new tires every 3 months - you'll need a professional alignment.

Also, you'll really need to raise your back end up to not scrape... I'm on 18's with 1.75 more inches of space left to lower on my rear with TEIN SS's (It's lowered approx. 2.75"). I had it much lower, but no car should scrape very often at all... let alone EVERY speedbump. And as you can see from my pics, I have a 1 finger gap in the back (tucking front)... so it's not too high either. I've neever been a fan of the ass-dragging honda style.

mugenman 05-20-2006 11:23 AM

ditch the eye lids relocate the front plate and black out the headlights and itll 10000 times hotter.....looks good tho (just not a fan of eyelids)

Dominatorp1 05-20-2006 01:59 PM

Looks great man.. But you are dropped as much as you are, you might want to stay away from those 18's, i have 17's one a 2" drop and im tucking good now.. And on hard cornering you can definitly catch the body..

Mutha Fn FBM 85 05-20-2006 02:26 PM

it looks great. i just dont like the taillights

D5cIvIc 05-20-2006 03:12 PM

do those eyelids belong on the 04s? or did you get them from the 01-03 civics

noVICe 05-20-2006 10:31 PM

yes the eyelids are for the 01-03 but i personally dont think it looks bad at all.. it is a little short but im not at all picky when it comes to something like that, although 04 lids would be nice.. :)

im thinking about picking up 16s or 17 now, but i still want to finish my hfp kit.. lol. so its gunna wait.

*the plate doesnt stay there, its temporary since i dont usually sport a plate.

civic05acer 05-21-2006 04:44 AM

nice drop. is it me or do you have yellow hi and low headlights and yellow turn signals. just wondering if they are do you get pulled easily. i wanna do that but dont wanna draw attention to my car to much to get pulled. is it ilegal to have yellow headlights.? anyways nice drop. imma drop mine on ground controls soon. but i got a camber kit.

noVICe 05-21-2006 08:39 PM

no its not you, i have all nokya hyper yellow bulbs in my headlights.. hence the yellow reflections. i have not gotten pulled over for them, but i have however been pulled over for my tints.. and the cops havent said anything about them (yelow lights). i dont know about the legallity of them though... check your local laws. :)

shj503 05-21-2006 08:49 PM

very unique! I like it

RedBull 05-21-2006 09:52 PM
