Tein S-techs

RainMan 04-26-2006 08:21 PM

tien s-techs?? yeah, im pretty sure they should settle a little lower after driving a bit

djrabbi 04-26-2006 08:24 PM

i think it looks lower from the before after pic....

P.O.S.B.A.S.04 04-26-2006 09:21 PM

yeah, can't tell.
i could tell imediately after mine...open your trunk and jump up and down for a few mintues...that should make them settle more quickly!

post pics of it in the day or under a light!

dirtySAMURAI 04-27-2006 01:21 AM

flash + night + shiny objects = automatic horrible image

 ...yea, using a flash is not the best way to take a pic of a car.

Drop looks good tho to me, mainly cause a drop like that would be perfect for the driving I do, low, but not Too low.

ragingSPAM 04-27-2006 02:06 AM

best is change the DLO settings, longer capture time, tripod most importantly, night shot if availible on the camera

VTEK2k2 04-27-2006 10:54 AM

yea take some day pics man

RHCP0801 04-27-2006 10:56 AM

02BLKCIVIC 04-27-2006 12:17 PM

Ditch the lower grill also! IMO

RHCP0801 04-27-2006 12:34 PM

i think it looks good, but im gonna paint it SSM and get clear ties rather then black ones

i hope those pics are better

bluestreak 04-27-2006 05:52 PM

^not even, I think those are eibach shit, not sportlines, that's waht I've got and it's pretty good, but the lesser drop eibach makes.........

pro kit, gotta love the search button, its only about one inch drop if that's what you used?

02BLKCIVIC 04-27-2006 05:58 PM

Wait...

where is the "search" button  :hithead:

bluestreak 04-27-2006 08:58 PM

pro kit is what I was thinking about- gotta love the search button

why do I have a double post?

anyways, what the hell type of springs DID you use?

grab some s techs. i love mine! the ride feels almost stock. just follow the DIY and get 1 person for 1 whole day. start at like 8 am or something.
nice drop! it looks the same thing as mine, when you drive it about 2 miles, it will settle more. cause when i took my car off the jackstands you almost could not tell anything was done till i test drove it and the bumps on the road helped a little hahaha. congrats!!!:D btw i want your tails...

RHCP0801 04-28-2006 12:55 PM

the DIY for the koni struts installation? thats the only DIY i see in the suspension section, but i mean i dont have any jack stands or anything, all i have is the car jack that came with the car and i only basically have one friend who knows about cars but he works on bmw's, i doubt he would help me tho...i wanna get coilovers tho..i dont know im confused

nevermind i found the DIY on it, i dont know seems to complicated for me and i dont have all the tools

are you a girl or a man? better question, are you a man or a tuner? tools are cheap. i bought like 15 bucks worth of stuff and the spring compressor is 40 buck its rental so you get that back. don't make excuses man! get that thing dropped! hell if i was in jersey i could help you. it would only take about 4-6 hours if you had complete coilovers and a little longer if springs only.

eddiechaps 04-28-2006 01:20 PM

i've got all the tools.

RHCP0801 04-28-2006 01:27 PM

varner88 said he would do it for me but i wanna see if anyone on the island can do it first, i am gonna go to the jersey meet tho so i might bring them than, im going to get skunk 2 coilovers tho, not springs
