how much should.. about how much should a shop charge me to drop my 01' civic sedan 2 inches? i just dont wanna get ripped off |
You're going to be flamed for not searching this. but anywhere from 180-400 depending on how you manage to get it done and where you take it, and if the shop does all the work including alignments. |
I paid 190 with no alignment |
at this shop its going to cost about 450. does that seem fair? and what should i get with that. as in allgnment and such, and thats springs included. |
Talk them down a bit, or get another shop to beat their quote. Depending on how long your stock shocks last, you might or might not have to have the job done again for strut replacement. |
yo ryan just buy the springs & i'll come to your house & install them. |
Depending on exactly what brands you get you shoulld get......springs, shocks & install (tokico & tein) OR springs, camber kit, and install. |
bag it |
Paid a hundred for my origanal drop no allighnment |
i paid 400 for my springs, 200 for the install 600$(canadian) |
450? gtfo of their. unless its parts included. search on this forum on springs and see what you come up with. buy it on your own and have the shop do just labor. for springs on all 4, it should be from 100-250 depending how fancy of the shop is. |
Too much. You can get used springs for $100 Shipped. Install with local 7thgen member in 3 hours at most with basic tools. You can rent spring compressor from autozone for free. Learn from experience, don't take it to shop. |
true. eddieisaricer and i are problly gonna do it. |
ya u shud do it urself. i studied the DIY but ended up going to a shop to have it done. The DIY on this site is dead on and i could probably do it myself if i ever needed to again |
