So i was on my way to the gym.... (pics on page 2)
 

Yah so i was on my way to the gym, turned down rockwell and stopped because the car in front of me was waiting to turn into McDonalds...... Im on the phone with my buddy Josh and he is asking me if on on my way. All of a sudden i hear screaching tires, so i thought, dam someone is really on their breaks!!! Man this screaching noise is going on for ever.... BAM!! Next thing i know someone had rear ended me, and i hit the guy in front of me. This dude was just not paying attention. I was at a dead stop, and this guy rocked my dome. So i was kinda woozy the guy in front of me gets out, looks at his car and is like pffhhhh, and drove off. He didnt have any damage done to his car. Mine did!. So yah, my summer is already starting off to be crappy....

if you let off the brakes, you would have no damage & would've rolled into the car in front of you

That would've put damage on the guy infront, and not to mention, his car would have been damaged too.. we all know civics are as strong as soda cans... And if he rolled into the guy infront, he is responsible for the damage caused to him.

no damage? that depends on how fast the guy was going. .. he was going fast enough to bump me into the guy infront of me,

you are actually lucky the guy in front of u had no damage and he drove off. If he did have damage, it would have been on you to pay him for it because you were sitting too close to him when the accident happened and managed to rear end him. The accident in itself happened in the fault of the guy that rear ended you and technically should have the blame. something to think about...

tha street that we were on is real bizzy, i never speed on that street and if i do stop behind someone i always give 1 1/2 car length on this particular street, anywich away, bottom line is he wasnt paying attention, speed limit is like 40, he was doing 55 when he hit me... go fig. . .. mr officer said that he was at fault 100%, when you stop behind someone its required that you be atleast 1 car length behind, in which i was, heck i was one and a half, just because i know how drivers are and how conjested that street is, my friends that were there would tell you the same, either way it goes, its not a good situation for anyone.. .
