CiViCPrAnInG2k1 04-09-2006 12:33 AM

is it just me or did you change the headlights from 02 to 04+ SI heads? i always thought you had the 02 heads, and the reflector on the right bumper is missing as stated. nevertheless, your ride is very well put together. those HIDs are HOT

04 Civic Type R HID OEM headlights...
Yes, I have 2003.

Both of reflectors are missing, one of them is broken.
Took both of them out.

04_CIVIC_HFP 04-09-2006 07:22 PM

I got those rims on my car. Props!

gearbox 04-09-2006 07:36 PM

es2k2 04-09-2006 08:39 PM

CIVIC X3 04-09-2006 08:47 PM

i second that...love your HID and projector...

gearbox 04-09-2006 09:00 PM

is there a projector for the regular civics like that? guess not oh well

hotdogpilot 04-09-2006 10:01 PM

wow dude, that is friggin sweet!!! the HFP package is looking good as ever, and that cutoff is daaaamn cleeaaaan and sexy....

dre2600 04-09-2006 10:05 PM

Nice z-lines on the projectors! For once somebody on this site went HID and did it properly with a complete retrofit, no more rebased DS2 bulbs in stock reflectors and loads of glare. Props for a good job!

his isn't a retrofit. it's all OEM from a LHD CTR.

regardless, the egg is looking great (minus the missing reflector and the dent in the trunk).

gearbox 04-09-2006 11:31 PM

ya seriously the best egg i've seen. makes me want one now

civicvtec1ps 04-09-2006 11:47 PM

Thanks for comments.

Dent on truck, yea.. I could probably pop it out myself.
Didn't have free time to do.

I took apart headlights yesterday and projectors are identical as TSX's.
Retrofit can achieve output like that.

Planning to get replacement markers soon.

Need new tires or new set of wheels.. coming soon in couple weeks.

Nope, 04+ headilghts are similar without projectors..

For CF trunk, Maybe.
Not too crazy about cf trunk, they do look good, but i rather put that money towards brembo 5 lug swap.

7thGenerasianCivic 04-09-2006 11:54 PM

yup, TSX projectors. Clean car!

You're both right--it's an OEM retrofit from a CTR. Retrofit implies OEM.

I think you need to adjust the rear camber on your car--unless it's a track-only car, you're wearing down your tires. Headlights are very nice.

I already have adjusted, With the drop i have.
That's rear camber angle I want for now.
Can't go any straighter, because tires will hit inner fender.

I need new tires anyways, maybe new set of wheels.

dirtySAMURAI 04-11-2006 11:42 AM

i would call it more of a swap, but whatever. they're nice lights.
