valve cover

sup kids. i was interested in buying a nifty valve cover for my sohc d17a1 auto. but i cant find one. only for the d16a's or w/e. would these fit my engine? dont wanna buy it and find out its ghey. also, the ones im lookin at are only for everything up to 00. are there anything out there for 02s?

if there are any problems with slappin a new one on, could you list them? thanks in advance.

What your talking about is not the Valve Cover, your talking about the spark plug cover, and they do make 2 versions of it. DG motorsports makes one and it pwns the other version, DG's is a replacement and the other isn't. I bought the DG one and love it.

i removed the valve cover, not wire cover. and i painted it, not hard. so i suggest you do the same.

eyeheartvtec 04-07-2006 12:09 AM

ah that sucks. they need to come out with some. im not a full member yet and havent reached the posting limit of 15 so i cant link or post or anything. um. try ebay and search "honda sohc cover" it will show you what i mean. if i cant find that then i will definately paint my wire cover when i get some time! thanks guys!

isuzu5000 04-07-2006 12:17 AM

i had to do it myself--unfortunantly you have to do it yourself too

i think the blue is fine, its the wire cover that looks choppy. just put a stock one back and it'll look clean.

SloCol-Vtec 04-07-2006 11:20 AM

powder coat it

eyeheartvtec 04-08-2006 12:58 PM

so ive gotta do it myself. thats cool. how much does p coating usually cost for something of that size?

gearbox 04-08-2006 04:05 PM

maybe $100?

jamesandrew58 04-09-2006 02:14 AM
