you can't stop there, you've barely scratched the surface. keep modding!

VTEK2k2 03-29-2006 04:19 PM

next mods would have to be black out headlights and get fogs..yumm...

dp_yz713 03-29-2006 04:23 PM

and paint the caliper and drums black

vacivic2005 03-29-2006 04:27 PM

I'm a sucker for the 99-00 si lip on the 04+ coupe's

tony_buttons 03-29-2006 04:51 PM

I would take those splash guards off. It's free, and looks much cleaner IMO.

R3DL1N3 03-29-2006 05:01 PM

if you're going for a "slightly" modded car then yeah, you're done. if not then you might want to delete this thread. and take the splash guards off while you're at it. it looks good none the less.

drew22mader 03-29-2006 05:10 PM

Shew i wish i could say that i was done, but i just can't stop. Not sure if you can ever be "DONE" but you can call it quits. I would suggest painting the drums black and the front calipers, that will clean them up a bit and not make them look as bad. And while your at it, remove the mud guards, that shouldn't be more than $5-$10 of work and will make a difference.

03hce 03-29-2006 06:25 PM

I think some 16's in that style would look better and I agree... no mudflaps. haha... The drop looks good none the less.

acjones21 03-29-2006 06:50 PM

this is a daily driver, so the mud guards stay. also, I'm not entering any shows or anything so I'm not adding any weight with any lips or body kit. I am done though. I think that it'll be a fun and economical DD. performance for this car is useless, so I just focused on some fun suspension goodies. I'm 22, so I don't want to pull up to my friend's houses or work in a loud riced out civic. You gotta know when to call it quits and focus on your family. I find happiness at church and just mod the car for fun. a car will never make you happy.

drew22mader 03-29-2006 06:59 PM

my car makes me happy, and mine isn't riced out at all, btw i'm 21 and have never been called a ricer. You do it right and they won't call you that.

acjones21 03-29-2006 07:08 PM

you have done an exceptionally nice job with your car drew. the fact that you have shown restraint in certain areas is what has made it so appealing. that is rarely found in very modded cars...i don't want to spend any money on my car that i regret, so i'm stopping here.

drew22mader 03-29-2006 07:13 PM

I understand man, its addicting i know that. The more i do the more I wanna do more! lol. Looks good man.

i have to disagree. i like your car, but right now, the only thing that makes me happy in MY life, IS my car. and you might think its "sad" or "bad" or whatever, and im not assuming you do, but even though. for me, its my time away from this world.
