New Trunk Finally On

After having this sit in my basement for almost a month, I finally came home and put it on. Im not sure if anyone else with a cf trunk has the same problem with closing it...it just doesnt want to catch the latch

i'm telling you timmy, its just not shutting as easily cuz its a lot lighter so there is not as much weight helping you shut it.

please tell me you don't have a million green stickers on your car

HondaKorn 03-26-2006 10:06 AM

for some reason, that matrix theme looks good!....more pics please!!

R1Style 03-26-2006 10:50 AM

Looks good Tim!

If the trunk isn't catching the latch, try moving the latch up a bit. Also, make sure you catch your trunk when you open it instead of letting it fly open... you don't want it to break :)

your car makes me mad. There isnt much that doesnt make me mad lately but your car is at the top of the list.

BIG 03-27-2006 12:09 PM

look sick Tim. When I had it on my car it closed perfectly fine. Maybe just adjust the mounting bolts a little, and see if its angled properly.

Also, I think I took out the trunk stopper thing.

Looks awesome!

I checked it and its angled perfectly and the spacing around the edges is all even. I couldnt even get the rubber stoppers to fit into the holes so I didnt put them in lol. I dont know how you got the lightbulb covers to snap into the spots though. Nameless and I tried our hardest but it wouldnt go in all the way so he ended up siliconing around it to cover up the gap so water wouldnt leak in :_doh: . Oh well, either way it fits great :)

nick95673 03-27-2006 02:37 PM

the stickers. I dont know why but to me its just no good. It is unique but I could say the same thing about an ugly chick.

MajinB 03-27-2006 06:17 PM

nice man! i hope my install goes well next month... how long did your install take? and did you drill the holes yourself for the spoiler?
