I'll post some more pictures after it gets aligned tomorrow. It's pretty scary to drive now....

Nice drop, I got the same springs also

R1Style 03-26-2006 11:18 AM

looks good man... the springs will settle a little more in a couple of weeks.

CM92065 03-26-2006 11:36 AM

DID you install it your self? If you did how difficult was it 1-10.......................thanks, and it looks good to !

blackBDMcivicLX 03-26-2006 11:39 AM

Looks good. Congrats, let us know how the ride is compaired to stock.

Caucasian.Asian 03-26-2006 09:37 PM

wait, is that the installed picture??? or the before?

acjones21 03-27-2006 11:52 AM

The car looks high because I had JUST lowered it and the springs hadn't setted at all. After I wash it this afternoon, I'm gonna update the pics. It had the perfect stance now in my opinion. THe install wasn't that bad. It took a long time because I had hand tools and a crappy jack. I could do it in an hour with a lift and air tools. Anyone around Augusta that's getting lowered just holler at me and I'd be glad to help. The ride is stiffer than stock now, but it handles a WHOLE lot better.

drew22mader 03-27-2006 11:54 AM

Yea just give it a bit, i know when i had my Neuspeed Sports on there it took them a few weeks and they settled, making it look alot nicer. When you get in it and drive it the first time the difference is awesome, looks good man!

ragingSPAM 03-27-2006 12:01 PM

looks pretty good...did u have to drill the front crash bolt holes?...i did on my d-specs...or did u use the civic si ones?

acjones21 03-27-2006 12:59 PM

yeah, I got a machine shop to drill em. It only cost me $25.

ragingSPAM 03-27-2006 01:07 PM

oic...i did mine myself with a heavy duty hammer drill and a 16mm masonry/metal/hard surface bit...worked like a charm...came out clean...i love the d-specs just cuz of how soft or hard u can make the ride...i have it set on stiff because i noticed i get better gas mileage cuz my camber alignment doesnt change as much giving me better mileage...when i had it on soft it would burn gas like mad

springs have settled a little....love the ride.

MajinB 03-27-2006 05:53 PM

the drop should look better after the settlement. good for you man. when you run at about 80 on the highway, turning is a little smoother. nice

DaddyFatSacks 03-27-2006 06:04 PM

What do you have for tires?

blackBDMcivicLX 03-27-2006 06:20 PM

Looks good, I wish you had a before and after shot though to see exactly how much lower it is. How much did it drop?

clrumivier4life 03-27-2006 10:12 PM

How does the ride feel? I've got neuspeed sports and the tokico blues will be going on friday or saturday.

redex04 03-28-2006 02:28 AM

why did u upgrade your shocks struts? i have stock shocks/struts and mine rides like stock on my neuspeed sports

clrumivier4life 03-28-2006 05:54 AM

I had to buy some because my back ones blew. My car's rear bounces like a fat persons ass.

redex04 03-28-2006 06:32 AM
