Racing Seats

Ok guys, im trying to figure out whether or not i want to put in racing seats... in my 05 civic sedan. what do you guys think? remember its a sedan...
its white with BEIGE/black interior.

or should i keep stock seats and get LCD headrests...

RSX leathers or EP3 seats will look good. . im lookin for some leathers right now. . dont put t.vs in the head rest.. gay/waste of money IMO

mugenman 03-14-2006 10:45 PM

get ep3 seats man they would look killer unless u like leather then get some rsx seats

ramcosca 03-14-2006 11:30 PM

I say the LCDs only if you have kids. If not, complete and utter waste of money, time and effort.

RSX-S Leather :sweet:

i wouldnt get racing seats in a sedan; just doesnt look good/right in a sedan. they barely look good in coupes. leather is cool

ummm what? They don't look good in a Coupe? So stock pwns Recaro, Bride racing seats? Umm i think not. I think you should go with either SI seats or RSX. If you wanna get real picky you can get the limited edition SI seats or the Recaro Type R seats. Either way you can't go wrong. Good luck and let us know whats up.

wow.. well quite a few different opinions.. ill look into it at let u guys know what i go with.. i mite stick with stock seats and get them re-upholstered with a black/tan leatherette, but that seems to be a bit expensive ( around 2500) my reason for stickin with stock is cuz of my neon alrdy being mounted and lookin great.

drew22mader 03-15-2006 04:27 PM

eh, screw the neon, get some Recaro racing seats or Bride, hell you can get the Brides cheaper than $2500. $2500 is rediculous, where on earth are you looking?

Neon is easy just use new zip ties. I found a pair of RSX fronts in leather for 500. So you'd be wasting a lot of money just to cover up those crappy/uncomfortable front seats

Here in norcal there are only like 3ppl within a 2hr drive that will do upholstery.. and i went to 2 of them Audio Image = $2500
and then some mom n pop place that would charge me the same, but wouldnt do that pattern i wanted.

How hard is it to intall the RSX leather? Im assuming it cant be that hard.
