Makeover of 2006

Or some what of a "makeover"... Just some simple cosmetic additions to come and they have started this year. Here are some new pics of the Wilwoods on the car and a sneak peek at the end of what's to come next...

Yeah that is another thing! I need opinions about that while they are still apart. I really don't want to totally black out the amber... I just want a tint to it. So should I spray it with a gray color behind the amber or ..... what? Help.

Nice! Wow, you consider the Wilwoods a "simple cosmetic addition"? I wish I had your cash-flow! I think if you use a medium gray color behind the amber you might get what you're looking for.

Sweet ! Nice & clean. Keep it up man !!

I say take the amber piece off, spray all of the chrome black then put the amber piece back on.

lol... I don't know about having the best "cash-flow". But I would call it graduating from Tech School and landing a good job. Thanks for the complements.

sickness with the black

I'd leave the amber the way it is. But I'd lower your car more and get bigger wheels. That is a lot of wheel gap.

Looking good though.

looks noice

if you could get a grayish color to paint behind the amber, go for it, otherwise keep it as is because it looks fine

^^ Thanks for all of ya'lls complements.

Yeah I am ready to get rid of the wheel gap. The car will be lowered sometime later this year. Right now I have lowered it an inch with some Tein-H-Techs. But all in good time....

man, your car is beautiful. Once you finish the headlight work be sure to post updated pics

Bionikbreaks 03-06-2006 05:11 PM

an idea...

Have you thought about adding a light tint to the amber lens with VHT-Niteshade it would look real nice and retain its amber tone, just dont over do it.

MYK1013 03-06-2006 05:55 PM

blacking out the headlights is definitely the way to go. With mine, I painted the part behind the amber piece. I suggest you do too.
Nice ride and keep it up.

keep the amber piece clear so it would stand out. too much darkness is ugly you need the amber piece to stand out from the blackness.

^^^Thanks again for the comments above.

Like someone said above... I am looking to tinting them with this...http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...9&autoview=sku

But like others say I like that differential in the car. But I dunno... It is not a bright as what it seem in the pic tho.
