My Civic Dyno Graph Here's my 2001 Civic Si(EX) dyno graph... Final # are 117.8whp and around 108 ft/lbs of torque... (3rd Gear Pull) My mods are: AEM CAI Rocket Z 4-1 Header Rocket Z 2.5" Cat-back Exhaust DIY Grounding Wires (4 Gauge Wire) T1R V-Power Voltage Stabilizer Tuned with the A'PEXi V-AFC II I dynoed it with my 18's on... I don't know if that would make any difference... Maybe have some parasitic drag to it? So maybe I could've gotten a couple HP less from it. I originally had over 118whp but my car got too hot after many runs! But in the end, my car runs a lot smoother! this should be a sticky for when people ask what intake or header to buy. This is exactly why I don't mod my engine. |

Nice inca. Are you willing to share vafc 2 settings? |
very impressive. i wish autos were faster. |

Nice Job!!! |

well an auto is around 90whp, manual more like 105whp. i've never seen a stock civic dyno higher than 107. |

people forgetting that stock dyno numbers depend on what car, where, what dyno, any slight mods, temperature, how the engine is running in general (may need tune up). so all your arguing to find an exact whp rating for our car is pointless with these numbers. find a dry cool place and get a stock lx 5-spd do a tune up and go for it. |
Thanks guys! I think my numbers are decent... Considering I have about 97000kms(about 60000miles) on my motor... Which is pretty close to changing my timing belt! But yah, the numbers I think are not bad! Not the best though... I know I can get better. We just did a quick dyno tune... From looking at my Air Fuel, it could be more straighter... But in the end it's a lot smoother! Notice it doesn't die down as fast at redline compared to the Baseline run... And my torque almost always stay above 100 from 2500rpm... The torque band is quite flat I guess... |

its true. stock 5 speed ex is 110-111 hp btw is your car a 5 speed? |
Yah, mine's a 5 speed... I did say it was a 3rd gear pull at the top... So by saying 110-111 whp for a stock EX is saying it's losing about 15% from the flywheel hp of 127... Which is unlikely! Unless Honda underrate our cars, which I doubt. |
dude its true, stock ex runs 110 hp. ill find the proof. |
i treally dont know about that one. i always hear around 100.. 10 horsepower is a lot for us  |
yes, you definitely lost power with the 18's ... and depending on how heavy they are, you would've picked up another 3-5 whp across the whole powerband vs. some lightweight 15's good numbers though ;P do you have the stock cat/downpipe too? |

that's great man. Next time, dyno with your stock 15's on and get yourself a cat-delete/test pipe or the equivalent. Also ... that "stock" dyno does look pretty well tuned. Not only that, but it seems to be measured in STD, not SAE corrected. |

I was thinking of getting rid of my cat, but I want to stay legal and also I don't want it so loud! Mine's ok the way it is... |
ah ... well that's okay. be proud of yourself anyway hehe no n/a d17 people on here are really even willing to get their car dyno'ed. unlike a lot of people here, I don't think it's a waste of time ... it's a hobby. do what makes you happy ;P |

I also see that you have a engine swap... Must be pretty fun to rip around in now! I eventually plan on getting this setup: K20a Head/K24 Block I/H/E Hondata K-Pro Stock Type-R LSD and Transmission This should be plenty fast for me! Should double my HP! |
yeah, I have a swap ... but I still have d17 n/a love ;P hm if you ever plan on running your car with slicks, I'd suggest getting something other than a stock itr lsd ... I've heard of those breaking at 220 whp on slicks. |
nice, im learning! |
you would have probably made a couple extra horses with a smaller exhaust piping size. |
