who has a double tip exhaust???
 

well, i got an exhaust from a friend for free. but it's a double tip. anyone have a double tip exhaust on their 7th gen? any pics??? i'm afraid if i get that welded on my car, it'll sound horrible and most importantly, it'll look gay. so i want to see if anyone has one on their car. it's a cheap one. F-1 Racing Sports........

how about either a pic or a link... give us something to work with

If its just the muffler, it might sound good if you get some good piping done. I dont know if that would fit the contour of our bumpers though?

i don't think a dual tip muffler would look good on our cars.

maybe on a stock Si but get get a single tip to keep it clean but no rice can

yeah, dual tips could only be pulled off (maybe) if they are straight back. The angled ones... no way

Those are everywhere around my area on the sh!tiest of cars. I call them "rain mufflers" due to the fact that water has to just collect in the can when it rains.

I saw this exhaust on 2001 civic coupe. Looked bad IMO, sound was alright.
The tips stick out too much i think, looks like an exhaust on the truck =)

if u think itll look gay b4 u put it on ur car then itll probably look even gayer once u put it on. follor ur better judgement dont put it on.

if its euro spec, they deserve to be on a EURO car. dont do it on a import or else you'll get flamed like a b*tch when people see it.

ahaha i dont know if it would look good, i wouldnt think so but you never know. i saw a prelude with that kinda tip that goes up and the bumper was full or carbon. it was a white car that was black around the tip lol

my friend has a DTM style tip on his 328i. its really gay looking but sounds good.

i remember some kid in my high school had one of those mufflers on his civic and his bumper was black from the exhaust smoke, hahaha that was so funny looking, so yea dont do it unless you want a two toned bumper :giggle:

i dont think that magnaflow muffler pictured would look bad, but I agree.. NO DTM.

this pic gives u a bit of an idea, but not enough, it doesnt look terrible, but i wouldnt do it.

I saw one today!!! I didnt really hear it..but it looked REALLY bad...this one looked extra bad because it stuck out like 2 and a half inches from the bumper...

what style do you think would look good? my bumpers opening is perfect for the dual tips its wide.
