whats your thought on, R34 Front Bumper and Buddy Club Rear Bumper for my civic, the only thing is the rear is for a 4 door and i havea 2 door. any opinions would do , thanks!

Transformer_Guy 01-24-2006 10:19 PM

Well, I would have to say it looks good because I have the same thing. I'm using the buddyclub sides as well.

What year civic do you have?? I love Buddy Club sides and front, haven't seen many pics of the rear. R34 front is good too though. Have fun and post up pics when it's done!!

I think both kits look wack!!! I'd go with either type R front and oem sides and rear....jmo

imo, lip kits are a lot cleaner then bodykits. they're also a lot cheaper and the fitment is always perfect. but the r34 front looks pretty good though. and make sure that you dont get a rear bumper for a 4 door cuz it will NOT fit on a 2 door.

Body kits = too big, too ugly.
Get a lip kit. Spend the extra money cause it's worth it!!
And even if you decide to get a body kit, DO NOT GET FIBERGLASS!!

Transformer_Guy 01-25-2006 02:26 AM

Well, the same can be said about lip kits. Too plain, too boring, too stock. It all depends on the owners preference. Lip kit fitment is not always perfect because I had purchased a type r lip kit when I first starting modding my car and the front lip didnt fit cuz it was too small. I dont see what the big problem is with fiberglass. I deal with horrible weather up in Canada and my fiberglass pieces are fine. I have even had someone bump me from behind and the bumper did not crack or anything. The only damage was 2 holes left from the persons license plate.

Patience with a body kit is a good idea. Imo you should buy a brand new urethane complete kit.

bodykits rock

LowRYda03ex 01-31-2006 08:53 AM

My fiberglass R34 is a pain in the ass... takes a minute or two to pull into my driveway. Go with urethane or lip kit.

Mutha Fn FBM 85 01-31-2006 09:48 AM

i have a fiberglass kit. it hasnt given me any trouble.

Mutha Fn FBM 85 01-31-2006 03:42 PM

if i lowered it id be hitting it everywhere my sides are already super low.

Any recomendations on lip kits or nice looking urethane kits?

oem, kaminari, rs

jball63 08-26-2006 05:58 PM

I read that kaminari's are pretty good. However, they are expensive.
