Tax returns...What to do with the $$$

Ok so I'm expecting to get about 800+ on my upcoming tax returns so here's my question what to do with it? Here are my ideas to do with my almost stock car.
Either get a RS*R exhaust and get an Eibach ProKit lowering Springs, or get rims and lower my car in the summer.
Here are the pics:

Motegi 17X7 DP12 (seems to be cheap).

With $800, you can do a lot to your car...

Rims for $400 or less
Springs for $100
Exhaust for $200 or less
Short shifter (if applicable) for $30
Neons for $40
shift knob (if applicable) for $30

You just gotta shop for the deals. Don't be afraid to ebay a few things....

I think you should lower it first, because it won't really look good with rims without lowering it first, but that also depends on the tires you buy

bigmurr 01-10-2006 07:04 PM

I'm a noob when it comes to tires, what tires would look good with that? like how to I know what all those numbers mean, tire wall height and all? If the rims are 17X7.

blouisgod 01-10-2006 07:07 PM

lower it FIRST

mrDFWmechanic 01-10-2006 07:17 PM

i say spend the money on springs and shocks, lower your car right the first time.

my1vtec 01-10-2006 07:28 PM

Tein coilovers or an rs*r exmag with 300 left over for lowering springs...just a thought. i love the exmag.

I only want an 1" at the most nothing to extreme and that makes it so I wont have to buy new shocks

Tires first, then you can work the rest later!

boricua_civic 01-14-2006 05:23 PM
