Eibach Sportlines INSTALLED. Finally

I finally got them installed...With a SPC Camber Kit. After the install, some bearings or something messed up, when you turned the steering wheel it made a horrible noise... Anyway, he fixed that, and now no sounds. I paid $110 for the install, and fixing the bearings..Not too bad I don't think.

ragingSPAM 01-06-2006 10:01 AM

nice...it popped like that because he indexed the shocks wrong...oh well i did my H&R's and tokico d-specs myself it was pretty cheap for me and it came out well

SLVR01CIVIC 01-06-2006 10:02 AM

Would have looked like mine, but I never installed them on my car, glad to see someone else could put them to use.

goodtimes 01-06-2006 10:38 AM

looks good man, grt some nice shocks to go with that then your set

wssuhotboy 01-06-2006 10:48 AM

I put Tokico Struts and Eibach Sportline springs on last Feb. A couple of weeks ago the front right starts making a "creeking" noise whenever i turn the wheel left or right. any idea what it could be?

ragingSPAM 01-06-2006 10:52 AM

check the upper mount and see if the indexing needs to be straightened out...cuz being alittle crooked can make things creek or squeak

wssuhotboy 01-06-2006 10:57 AM

thanks, how can i tell if the indexing needs to be straightened out or should i just have my mechanic check it out?

exturbo6 01-06-2006 11:05 AM

nice. if you had a shop do it $110 is a great price, shops usually charge around $300.

It's not EXACTLY a shop. It's my guy I get all my stuff from (stereo, rims, etc). And he knows how 2 do all that shit, and his stereo shop is in what used to be a automotive shop so he has all the lifts n shit. He did it for $110

Xenin 01-07-2006 04:16 AM

hmm, i paid $130 Canadian to change shocks, springs, sway bar and camber kit.

SEVYN 01-07-2006 04:39 AM

I'm not going to lie, the ride is worse after putting the springs on, but that could be cause I have stock shocks with aftermarket springs... It's not that bouncy but like you gotta dodge potholes, sewer covers, etc.

MajinB 01-08-2006 02:00 AM

nice, where is your mechanic friend. i might want to see him when i get my s techs- how much of a drop do those sportlines give you?

Hayz 01-08-2006 09:53 AM

GACivic 01-08-2006 02:25 PM

I don't know what kinda lip kit I should get. I wana try and get a painted one... Cause paint is expensive.

ragingSPAM 01-08-2006 03:01 PM

indexing is just checking if the little arrow on the bearing mounts on top is aligned with the hole on the bottom of the spring seat and that the upper mount is sitting with the L or R and arrow sign is the same way...check some of the FAQ threads they'll help

GACivic 01-11-2006 12:04 PM

What type of lip kit would look good on my car...And where can I buy the entire kits from?
