Accident on New Years Eve, what fun!
 

alright folks heres the story. im comin home from work, driving in the right hand lane of a 4-lane road. So idiot runs a stop sign about 20 ft ahead of me, so i yank the wheel left and slam the brakes. Well he still hits me, smashes up my right front fender, its trash now. Also scrapes up the bumper and the passenger side door. My rim is trashed also. It looks like the rim made contact with his door. Theres red paint all over it, and its all scraped up from where the tire came off. Yep thats right, came off. When he hit me it made the car slide off to the side and pop there goes the tire. Anyway, when i stop sliding im now facing traffic on the wrong side of the road. luckily i stopped in a turning lane so i didnt get hit head on. But what makes it all the better, is that the ******* mother ****er took off before i even stopped sliding. I hate peopel who hit and run. But its ok, i got an alright look at his car, no tags #s though. And i did some good damage i think cause there was a lot of metal crunching for my damage to be so light.

found out today that besides for the body and wheel damage, the control arm is bent, so that makes my damage estimate $1400. But that is with stock wheels and stock tires, so i gotta go find out what i paid for my rims and tires. O what a wonderful new year!

Most of stuff like that happens in X'mas.

In 2000 X'mas I totalled my Accord right at Dec 24 11:50pm, police and ambulance arrrived at X'mas day :(

that sucks.. are you going through insurance? hope everything works out for you.

yeah goin through insurance. we're still not sure if mine is gonna go up.
