Nice rotors.
Are those slotted/drilled from Brembo or blanks that were altered?

I ask because I always thought Brembo made slotted OR drilled, but not both slotted/drilled.

jgrow44 12-05-2005 03:04 AM

i picked up the exact same setup off of ebay. great upgrade.

05_ CivicJDM 12-05-2005 03:25 AM

Those are nice, great upgrade. Can't wait to see those on...

ragingSPAM 12-05-2005 03:55 AM

they are slotted rotors which have been drilled...cant wait to put them on

mrDFWmechanic 12-05-2005 04:42 AM

120 for both thats a good deal man, for pads i'd say get some hawk or axis pads

bigmurr 12-05-2005 05:34 AM

I have those exact rotors. I put some Hawk ceramic pads on them and they work pretty good.

My only complaint is if I step on the brakes hard they make a wierd rubbing noise my guess is thats its from it being slotted and drilled.

ragingSPAM 12-05-2005 03:30 PM

once those pads run out im gonna change them up...ill most likley get some ceramics...but i've been on the hunt for fade free carbon ceramic pads...

for my 03 Q45 the carbon ceramic pads cost $300+...but if i can find them for the civic ill get some

texascivic2k1 12-05-2005 03:33 PM

Whats the width and size on thos?.... very nice.

ragingSPAM 12-05-2005 03:35 PM

they are oem size...stock replacements...after some canyon runs my stock pads are gone and squeaking and my rotors are warped...they are now too thin to resurface too...heh oh well i got these puppys now

Nodnero 12-05-2005 04:17 PM

Got from Ken over at 88 Rotors I take it?

ragingSPAM 12-05-2005 05:58 PM

blouisgod 12-05-2005 06:18 PM

pbr pads have saved my ass many of times.

ragingSPAM 12-05-2005 06:42 PM

yea i read that PBR pads work well with the brembo rotors...im glad to hear good reviews on them too...ill prolly put them on tomorrow

ragingSPAM 12-07-2005 12:22 AM

oh my god...got them installed today and god damn its so freakin crazy...it stops on a dime...my face gets sucked off my head when i brake from going fast...after i properly broke it in i went on a canyon run and damn it was good that i could slow down when i did...dont have rims only steelies so no pics now...ill get some when i install my springs
