Does it actually connect the same way as it does for the DIY? I have a switch too but wondering how to start...

karizzle 12-12-2005 10:17 PM

how does it work? u put ur key in the ignition and then press a button? if so, whats the point of that? why not just turn ur key...

82801BA 12-12-2005 10:18 PM

Good question, I wonder about that too....

drew22mader 12-12-2005 10:32 PM

I guess its just the fact that you pressed a button to start your car. Enzo does the same thing.

karizzle 12-12-2005 10:39 PM

lol well if its just u put ur key in and push a button, thats cool, i wouldnt mind that. but if u gotta turn ur key all the way then i dunno

dirtySAMURAI 12-12-2005 11:43 PM

you have to turn the key to the 2nd position, then press the button.

DDragon7 12-13-2005 12:06 AM

LoL, lazy people who doesnt want to turn it one more time.

i dont know if its just me, but it kinda looks out of place there, .... i dont know if its just cuz the black is a square and then theres a circle button there, i dunno... dont get me wrong its pimp to have it, but i guess im just not feelin it there, but thats just imo

drew22mader 12-13-2005 09:43 AM

Yea i'm not feeling it either, i would say to remove that panel and custom make a piece to fit in there and then it would look ok. But our cars didn't come with it so why put it in?

02civic_rida 12-13-2005 11:31 AM

well, putting it in will still be pimp, but do it in a guud spot, actually take the risk and put a hole in the dash somwhere, or somewhere in the center console somewhere? i dunno,

i think its a cool idea, yes u'd have to still put the key in and turn it and then hit the button, i dont think it has anything to do with people being lazy, cuz actually u'd have to do another step of taking ur hand off the key and then to the button, its just being able to say "I have push start" but its the same thing as many other parts on our cars, they dont do much but its for our satisfaction.
