Painted hubcaps
 

Hey, i was wondering if anyone has any pics of painted hubcaps on a 7thgen. I know this is a stupid question, and im sure it looks gay, but i was just wondering.

I have yet to see a 7th gen with those, but I can tell you I have seen cars with painted hubcaps, mainly Mirages and 5th-6th gens...
It depends on the color of the car, style of hubcap and if the finishing on the paint is good, but I have seen many that look very nice.
I personally wouldn't do it, but...

I remember a member on here did that..... it got mixed opinions.... black Civic w/ black painted hubs are...... ok.

I'm thinking of doing this tomrow. I might paint them black. lol, maybe it'll look sweet

I plan on doing mine this week b/c I can't afford wheels and I think the covers just look cheap

me too. my friend took my car around when i was out of town and drove it down to the rotors. so now my hubs have this rust melted in to them

I don't know, I think they are fine the way they are from honda.

eh i dunno .. in my opinion I think it looks kind of beat. If you have a decent amount of breakdust buildup on it, just repaint them silver again. Painting them any other color just makes it look really cheap. The same goes for taking off the hubcaps and just going with black steelies... it's better left stock with normal painted hubcaps.

I have mine painted black, and my car is ssm. I've never gotten bad comments, in fact most people think they are rims. I just did it because I don't like the hub cap look but I also don't like the blank steel wheel look either.

I usually see people without hubcaps instead of painting them.

why not just save for rims?

before i got my ADRs i painted my stock 04 DX hubcaps black...i liked it better than the silver stock hub,..ill try and find some pics and post

not RSX-S, Integra-R....

Not the RSX=S or TYPE-R for the RSX its to rounded on the top... This is tho..

And as for the hubcaps in my opinion keep them original color.

not everyone can save the $500 - $1500. like students (not me :)), or people who just dont have the money, or want to spend that much.

Alright I'll give it to that owner, that doesn't look that bad. They look like more of a gunmetal color then black.

I found it in the gallery.... search and put in DC5 spoiler and that came up. (Not my car)

^^ yea i know but that spoiler looks bad. Why would anyone want to ruin the look of a new 04-05 civic?

don't be cheap and get some real rims, until then leave them be!
