I have yellow bulbs/lights also (low and hi beam). Haven't had any problems here in Denver. I get off work at 4am when there are cops out. Seriously i doubt you "ran" from the cop, if he really wanted you he would of gotten you. My guess is he backed off and had better things to do...

it depends on the state you live in. Some states it might not be illegal for yellow headlights. In california is it.

yellow bulbs are in no comparison to my yellow caps and hyper white PIAAs. mine were bright as FCUK. i was hi-beamed at least 5 times a night, the funny thing was when i hi-beamed them back. :cool:
i don't have them in any more though...not after beeing pulled over twice in one night for them.

see us californians know its illegal and we do it anyways...and plus i doubt u know how LAPD is around here and the CHP...chp and LAPD usually dont care if they are driving around but if they have a speed trap setup like they did where i was than they'd come after u for anything...

the cop was facing west when i was going north, than i made a right turn on the street where the cop was and drove right next to him...he had his engine off, lights off, and was sitting there watching...but as i passed him and got about 100 yards from him i see his lights headlights and tails were on (no flashers) and he proceeded to make a U turn in the intersection he was watching but by than he saw me turn onto my street, but my house is the second one on the left right after u turn and i pulled into my gated lot, than i see him fly by than stop cuz he though i went into an apt. building garge parking lot right across the street from my house but it was too late by than and he just left...i was like *whew* *wiping sweat off the face* its about an 1/8 mile from the intersection to left turn on my street street but he got on my street really really fast so i know he floored it tryin to catch up...hehe i wanted to take a pic but no camera/cameraphone

should be funny when he is at the same spot and sees the same civic (other than yellow headlights) and he pulls you over just out of speculation, then he will find out you live on the very street that the kid disappeared on a few nights ago. at least be smart and dont run home from cops..........

i've seen him 3 times already...same old caprice not crown vic, and the same officer but i had my stocks on so he doesnt even look twice considering there are about 15 silver ssm 04-05's on my block alone haha
