Headers installed! All by myself! pics...
 

Just installed my megan racing headers after i got home today, got em on ebay for 65 dollars... what a steal. anywho, took me about an hour alone in my garage, not hard at all really... runs great. despite what all u people will say, i can definetely feel a power increase, and it was well worth the money. I have now joined the I/H/E club, and im likin it... it was WELL worth the money for the I/H/E since i spent... $75 on the AEM SRI off ebay, $65 on the Megan headers off ebay, and a total of $0 on the GReddy EVOII exhaust (traded my stock catback for it... what a deal.) :D anywho, heres the pics, questions, comments, concerns? heh...

I think im gonna get an AEM cold air intake off a member on this site, that should help out a little more... boy i wish i could go boost, got the money but sadly, :_doh: my father wont let me :mad: :mad: :mad:

Nice man, but that spoiler just takes away from the beauty of the car. Also we only have 1 header, not headers. heh

personally i dont like the spoiler in back...but good work on startin custom mods. I have aem v2 cai, dc ss headers and greddy evo II also.

uh... multiple pipes, 4 to be exact. each one is a header pipe. headers. =P actually im probably wrong... but whatever, everyone calls em headers.

lol, the 4 pipes don't make it headers, its all one unit, referred as a header.

yea i figured some people here wouldnt like the spoiler, ive been flamed lightly for it before, but i love it, and everyone i know (at my school and such) has had nothing but good things to say about it cept 1 or 2 of my friends who are totally against car modding... heres a few more angles, maybe ull like em better?

he was being very sarcastic. hence the ":screwy: " after it, he was meaning to make fun of people who call it that. yea sorry guys, header jesus shoot me haha... oh and i changed to the old tails cuz i saw these for sale from fraga and i was like woa, those are tight, so i bought em. i think they are unique and tight lookin with the NHBP paint on em. i also like how the old tails look illuminated, with the C's as opposed to the knew ones that are just litte blocks... what is the obsession with 04 tails?! they are BORING!

hey man r those things in your headlights eyelids ?

any1 know where i can get that wing... the dude says its a modified DC5-R wing which was cut in the middle and a peice was taken out and molded back together. i would like to know where to get that wing

yes they are eyelids, and i believe thats how transform spoilers did it back when they were still around? anyone else got any more information for him? support them DC5-Rs!

for some strange reason i like the wing

not on a front wheel drive car. it just doesnt look right. its like me (245lbs and it aint muscle) lacing up track shoes.

If your bored since the tailights look like C's You could spell CIVIC on the back, using the backwards C like in the new commercials.

I have over :hithead: tighten one of the top two bolts on
my MEGAN minifold and its now proper loose...

does any one... well there must be some one
knows or have any idea how to resolve this
problem......?

I wanted to use the same bolt if posible.....

hey i just realized u have 01-03 tailights on ur 04, like me! ahah we're like the only 2 that ive seen so far. are ur taillights smoked? or is it overlays?

yea i really wanna go boost, i think im gonna try to convince my dad some more, i had a turbo setup all ready to buy then he said no at the last minute (kinda sad)... but ya its actually custom paint on the taillights, its NHBP on the spots that dont have light shining through. i think it looks rad. Fraga had it done when someone hit his rear bumper or something and he had to have it repainted. they had extra paint and he decided to put it on the taillights, so its a perfect match.

hey good idea spelling CIVIC on the back with the last one a backwards C like the new civics... i may have to do that but ide have to think about how to make it look good.

that would look sick with the widebody kit.

I used a hard metal drill bit and an easy out. It is a tool the is used for pulling stuck screws and bolts. I bought both at sears for 9 dollers. the longers part was taking everything out of the way. removal of the stud took 5 min. room is limited so if you have a dremmel I would use that. I used an air drill cause its small size. Did not have to pull the head though
