damn that sucks man. sorry to hear about that. what headlight conversion were you going to do? looks almost like 350z headlights. you are already 1/2 way done, why not just finish it up? |

I have a million idea for you: Keep all these photo of your car being destroyed, frame them nicely. Then finish all what you have to do then go to a car show. Post all the photo to show the contrast and your determination. The judges would be very touched and perhaps give you the 1st place price. |
Wow... That's rough dude. I hope everything works out for you and that this won't be too much of a financial burden on you and your wife. With any luck, you'll be able to get the car to a point you'll be happy with (for now, at least. I've been here long enough to know you're never satisfied :)) and then sue the jackass owner of the shop. And I agree with orion squall - I think the judges would love to see the pictures of your car in that neglected condition compared to how it will look when finished. Good luck! |

i was going to call bs on this when i read the first couple of sentences, but i'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. this sucks what you are going through, any luck on getting the satisfaction of beating the person responsible for this with a bat? thats good that you have real friends that got you the sponsorship, etc. please post pics of the progress! |

Totally sucks man... I'd be beyond :mad: if it were me. Insurance companies suck majorly. but on the brighter side... at least you got it back where you could actually replace some of the stuff... some people never see their cars again. I wish you luck... hopefully this sort of thing won't happen again. |
that really sucks man. i would hate to be in your position right now. did they mess with the engine or anything like that or is the car still fully drivable. if its not even drivable i'd salvage what i could and take it to a junkyard. really sorry to hear about this. good luck on whatever you decide to do. |
