so if you had to pick one of these 3 which one would it be?

1. 1987 toyota camry with 164k miles

2. 1990 mitsubishi mirage with 69k miles

3. 1988 nissan sentra with 179k miles

Mirage, less than 1/2 the milleage of the other cars.... also depends on the transmission it comes with.

all of them are automatics.

the camry i guess even tho i hate all 3.

Mmm.... geez.... I would still say Mirage...... the milleage is so low.... not knowing what the car has been through is another toughy..... I honestly wouldnt know if the other 2 cars would make it to 200K on an auto.

mirage is gay. mitsu sucks ass. sentra has too many miles. toyota is a clear winner man.

I bought an 88 sentra, with 465,000 km's on the stock motor/tranny....
I only bought it to screw around with..paid 75 bucks...but those are so tough!

i had an 89 sentra... it was a total rust bucket, i had to bondo the bottoms of the doors, and then repainted the bottoms black... it was JDM before JDM existed... :lol:

Yeah the Yota looks the best to me. My girl's mom had an 87 that went strong for 350K and then something dumb like a rad went so she traded it in.

we ended up not getting any of the three. we purchased a 2000 dodge stratus 2.4L for 2,500 it runs well.

I would go for that Mitsu, with the Camry a close second.

Anyway, as long as it still runs well its still good. When it starts to clunk out is when you'll see if it was worth it or not...
