Dead

Hydrolocked the vic. It's dead. New engine or car coming soon. Don't drive through foot and a half of water for 2 miles with a CAI and no bypass valve. Thank you insurance.

wasn't that mentioned in your instruction manual?

jttegx 08-12-2005 07:52 PM

sucks that you had to learn the hard way. but its common sense about open air filters and water/floods..

playa6tnine 08-13-2005 12:41 AM

that sucks man. are u parting out anything??

Al Gore FTW 08-13-2005 12:47 AM

that sucks

robo1040 08-13-2005 02:59 AM

what made you think that you could have made it through stock, let alone a CAI?

yes, it is bad. and with stock, with 2 feet of water , it would have still got in the TBI. that really sucks. please note : CIA + bypass valve= safer. anyways, i am also interested in parts of the car. sorry for your loss.
RIP jjdawg22's vic, though i new it not, i know he will miss it and all the fun it gave him. :_beer: :( :violin: R.I.P.

xX03EXx 08-13-2005 01:11 PM

WHy the hell would you do that? You deserved what you got. Idiot.

prccivic 08-13-2005 03:13 PM

so did we figure out if he is parting out the car?

MajinB 08-13-2005 11:47 PM

not yet^^^

ZapThyCat 08-14-2005 01:10 AM

I think he said he's getting a new engine.... so no parting out.

playa6tnine 08-15-2005 10:59 PM

man u should just get a new car. getting a new engine is way to much hassle...

with that said, how much u want for some of that I.C.E.? :D
