I'm at the point on what I dont know what I want to do Alright, I have been debating with myself for the past 3 months(hence why I havent worked on my car) on what I should do with the skivic. I have around 4k right now that I've made this summer for my car. More than likely I am going to hold this money till next spring before I made any purchases since I am going back to school next week. Here are a couple options that I have, I just cant decide on my own on what to do. 1) Swap in a k20a2, build it up for turbo 2) Get CF Hood, Trunk, Front Lip, D2 Coilovers, Racing Brake Rotors, Hawk Pads, work my suspension, finish my interior speakers(this would be done this fall) 3) Buy a shell(with a more than decent body) to swap in a b series that will be built and turbo'd 4) Save my money till I get out of college(going to be a Junior now and will graduate on time) to help pay for a new car that won't be in the Honda/Acura category like a WRX/STI or Evo, or get a used 93+ FD. I also would be selling the Civic. |
Number 4 would be my choice. |
#3 and keep the civic how it is :). |
BTW: u should make a poll ;). |
number 5 my choice save money, invest in house...townhouse etc...housing prices lately so bad I would take a town house! |
Yes, likely not your favorite alternative, but I must agree...number 4. You never know what might be around the corner...I hate to sound overly practical, but you'll always need money more than stuff. |
Hmm #4 sounds like a good one, by the time you graduate maybe even a skyline!! Keep the options open!!! |

id got with #1 |
number 4 |
by the time #4 comes around, at least you're close to #1 |
i would say number 4 also.. or just invest into something that will appreciate not depreciate.. hence option 5... |
lol 3 without a question. U have ur stock 7thgen as a dd and u have a 10 sec hatch that no wrx and evo can touch. Plus b-series engines are getting cheap and with the 4000 full-race kit and all the tuning and suspension and u buy the car for 500-1000 dollars it will be cheaper then any of those high price cars and most of the evo's and sti's r made for rally and road racing. Trust me i got back from cmi and the fastest sti at the track was a 14.1 and some guy in a modded evo hit 15 flat??? PLUS i dont know how people think a hatch or crx will depreciate people on honda-tech r selling drag cars without engines for like 10,000-17,000 bucks and sell the engines too so its possible to even make out on it. |
