gearbox, i think the tickest are issued more for visiblity and safety reasons than hiding somebody.

no itz for the cops to be able to see inside your car to check if u are wearing ur seatbelt or not and crap like that. They can also spot teenager & ppl from certain "High Risk" races easier so they can stop them & give them hard time.

its not that hard though!make sure you make the windows real clean an scrabe it of.
than some water with some dishwashing product.cut out the foly the size it must be.
then spray the side thats gonna be pasted to the window.make sure not to make
alot of dust or just fold them together.
Just to make sure clean the window again! Then unfold the foly put it against the window.
With a rubber the size as a bankcard you wipe out the water mix between the window
and the plastic foly

i think you should factor in the color of your interior. i have 35% all the way around but it looks darker cause of the black interior vs 35% w/ a whiter interior.

Drew22mader - that car is sharp! I don't care for most of the kits for our cars, but your choice of wheels, tints, kit.. that all flows together very well, and actually looks clean. Nice job.

Here is my coupe. This was called "medium gray" by the shop that did it. I would estimate that it's about 35-40%. It's nice for reducing the sun in your eyes in the daytime, but it's a little bit harder seeing out at night. The only time it's been a problem for me is backing up in the country where there is no lighting aside from your backup lamps. When it's overcast sky and you're 15 feet away, you can't see in.. it looks black with a slight reflection of the sky. If it's bright and shiny outside, you can see right in. My interior is also black, so this helps make them look darker from outside. If you have a light interior the tints will probably not appear as dark on your car. I am happy with what I got, and would have the same level of tint done on future cars as well. So far (knock on wood) I haven't been ticketed or hassled for them.

I know the procedure, but I just don't have the patience. I fvcked it up last time I tried to do mine so I just took it to a shop. My dad's mercedes needs a tint so I'll try it on his car this time :rofl:that'll be fun lol
