If you were only going to get 2 gauges for a turbo setup... what would they be an why

Or should I just get a pod for 3 gauges? I don't want an air/fuel, cause all it is, is a pretty dancing light. I'm thinking boost (its a must), and oil pressure.

I need some opinions.

But also, a pyrometer would also be a good touch... right? Or is that useless?

I'd do those two then save for a wideband for some accurate air fuel readings

Boost, EGT, and Fuel Pressure for turbo set-ups.

Boost = to make sure that your are not over-boosting
Oil Press = to check whether the engine is working properly or not
:)

EGT = Exhaust gas temp???

isn't that the same as pyrometer?

Blahman240 06-28-2005 09:54 AM

and... what good would an EGT do me? What would it show me? and why do I need to know that?

A Wideband Air/Fuel ratio and Boost gauge.

ok... maybe I'll go 3 gauges... wideband a/f, oil pressure, and boost.

btw... I love the konami code in your title!

Boost and Oil pressure, because you need to know if there is oil pressure and you need to know how much boost your running,.

eye_see_you 06-30-2005 07:57 AM

speaking from boost..

Wideband A/F Gauge.. which I need cause the narrow band sucks
Boost - to make sure of no over boost
Oil Pressure
