Hopefully my next car (check it out) 2005 Chrysler Crossfire http://www.continental.com.mx/2003/C...fire/C-P41.jpg http://carpictures.duble.com/Chrysler/CrossFire/3.jpg http://carpictures.duble.com/Chrysler/CrossFire/1.jpg http://carpictures.duble.com/Chrysler/CrossFire/2.jpg If all works out, I'll be driving this at the end of the week and then I can have stories like s2000man. This car is unbelievably hot when its right in front of you and you will not believe the power and control. Don't worry though, if i get it I'll still stay loyal to this website. I lub you guys and gals too much to leave. Now...wha cha think? |
very hard. |
I test drove this car also and I wasnt impressed. Its fast compared to the Civic but it felt a little sluggish. Also, the interior looked so cheap, way too much painted plastic. I expected more from a car in that price range. But overall, it was a nice car. |
'preciate the info, hustle. Honestly, its been the fastest car I've ever driven so as far as sluggish goes i couldn't tell, One thing i did like a lot though was when I shifted into second gear and I heared the tires go "BWWWAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRPPP" Almost creamed my pants. Now I have rode in a Miata and a BMW Z3, maybe its just opinion but they seemed pale in comparison. None the less, I still really appreciate your words my good man. |
its a pretty unique car, at least I haven't seen too many on the road. Hope you enjoy it! |
I always thought those cars looked overstyled. The only bad thing is that if I got it, I would kick myself for not getting the srt 6 version. |
not my type but good luck anyways. |
very good car with dynamic wing, if you trade you civic in, you might get one. |
get a g35 for that amount of money.. |
The quality is supposed to be pretty good, with a lot of Mercedes components. Not too practical for the money though, but if you have it and that's what you want, hey. Depreciation is kind of an unknown too, since it is kind of a niche car. Seems like a radical upgrade, from a Civic to something like that. Have fun. |

Very cool cars. What color do you plan on getting? |
how much does that car retail at? |
First price is MSRP. Second is invoice. Coupe - 29,145 27,131 Coupe Limited - 33,995 31,496 Roadster - 34,185 31,667 Roadster Limited 28,295 35,366 SRT-6 Coupe 45,170 41,998 SRT-6 Roadster 49,470 45,858 |
I agree with Hustle as far as lookin cheap...have not drove one (probably wouldnt fit...LOL), I would buy an sc430, or G35 before I bought that, IMO!!! |
^ I'm a fan of the G35, but I think the SC430 is one of the ugliest cars currently in production. That... and MSRP on it is over 63,000... more than double the base Crossfire's. You could buy two limited coupe Crossfires for the price of one SC430. |
i would wait, save your money, and go for the firepower if i were you. http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=2382 its a bit more expensive than the crossfire, but its soooooooooooo much more sexy. |
if it was me, i would be getting an s2k, reliability, power, looks, and resale all in one package. good luck though. |

a guy at work bought one it kept messing up and had 2 lemon law it we called it the miss fire lol |
get a 350z for the price of the crossfire... hell youd have money left over for mods, and a 350 will pull on that chrysler poo |
I stopped by the dealership yesterday and snapped a few pics of the exact car. To everyone, thnks for the good luck. It may just happen, gonna find out this week. to white2k2ex: Black...daaaark black with 20% black tint. 05civicguy: LMAO! hahah, thas a catchy name. I might change my handle to that if i get it Modoman: I want to get into a car i don't have to further modify. Probably the #1 reason i modded my civic was because I have been unsatisfied with it. Now as the price goes, I didn't mention I'm picking it up for 25,000. So its a lil bit less than a g35, s2000, and what ever the heck that 100,000 dollar car was. So here are the pictures... http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/at...id=56160&stc=1 you can see my civic in the background in this one. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/at...id=56161&stc=1 finally, its cute lil azz.. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/at...id=56162&stc=1 |
^^ no pictures  |
|
where the heck did my pics go? |
Alright, fixed em |
am i the only one who doesnt like how it looks? |
The fact that theres a lot of Mercedes in there and the speed adjusting spoiler are by far the coolest parts. |
G35 is the sickest ride on the market at this time imo, for $38,000 loaded you can't go wrong. I think the Crossfires are nasty as hell. |
