larger tires in the rear?

what would a civic look like with say 20"s in the back on low profile

and i dunno 17/18 on the fronts?

ive seen some cars round here like this. but never a civic. and think it might look hawt if u got the same rim design. i want 20's lol.. but dont think i could make the car drivable much better then a strate line :(

Blahman240 06-18-2005 10:59 PM

That would be rice... does FWD mean anything to you?

kornsined 06-18-2005 11:21 PM

your can't do that. i heard it ****s up your tranny....??

Boilermaker1 06-18-2005 11:59 PM

ABS doesn't like it
If you want staggered wheels, buy a RWD car.
Can you say understeering pig?

orion_squall 06-19-2005 12:50 AM

I have seen idiots keeping oem 15" steel black wheel in the front and 17" after market rim in the back.

Not impressive, don't be one of them.

paradoxblue 06-19-2005 01:12 AM

lol no i think stock with larger rears would be ghey

but 2 inch's isnt a **** of a lot and would be to fill in the rear gap

then just get a staggered fitment lowering springs, like the Neuspeeds...that should handle the gap you're talking about

eklipz 06-19-2005 04:03 PM

20"s will fit all around...

jttegx 06-20-2005 03:16 AM

20s in the rear and 17/18's up front? hope your joking.

stick with one size. getting wider tires in the rear seems reasonable though.

bOoStEd042dr 06-20-2005 07:58 AM

don't stagger them!!!

Supermanrider 06-20-2005 08:59 AM

ok if ur goin to do something like that atlest put the 20's on the wheels gettin the power and then ur 17/18's on the rear wheels.

pbfoot 06-20-2005 09:56 AM

Yeah, if he does it like that he can just drive backwards. I thinks thats called a RWD conversion!

Al Gore FTW 06-20-2005 11:59 AM

is it bad to run some azenis 205/50/15s in the front and ziex 195/60/15s in the back? because i got some gsr wheels for my azenis, and the azenis is only available in 50 series as far as 15s go.

paradoxblue 06-20-2005 05:37 PM

yeah im thinking of wider in the rear.. but how wide can u go on the ass of the civic?

gh0st 06-20-2005 05:50 PM

isn't 7.5" pushing it? i dunno too much about calculating the offsets, but i'm sure if you do it right, you can squeeze something back there without starting to hit stuff in there.

is this for show?
