Photoshoot with a P51 Mustang The local Miata club had an event at the Cavanaugh Flight Meuseum this weekend. This particular museum has around 50 - 60 WWII combat planes, & as well as a few from WWI, all in showroom condition & flown daily. One of the volunteers (miata guy) had set it up where they would pull out their P51 Mustang (their pride & joy), & let us park our cars under it & do a photoshoot. Heres the pics of my car, enjoy... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...P51Miata01.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...P51Miata02.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...P51Miata03.jpg The pics came out pretty good, considering I didnt have a chance to wax my car beforehand, & that front passenger side fender has been banged up pretty good & fixed poorly (the paint looks like crap & the metal is warped). Nothing a little photoshop cant fix... It was a great honor to be able to park under such an awesome piece of machinery. After the photoshoot, I learned that the whole museum was this guys (Mr. Cavanaugh's) personal collection, on display, & they would regularly take all the volunteers on rides in their planes. I have a few pics of the planes taken with my crappy cell phone, ill post them later, if I get a chance. |
cool shots! I thought about doing something like that last year at the aviation museum in front of a Spitfire or sabre Jet |
