Just installed Injen short ram... questions. Where does the o2 sensor plug into? it shows something different on the directions. And also how do i shut off my engine light? TY. |
The Intake air temp sensor (which you called an o2 sensor) plugs into the hole near where the intake connects to the throttle body. If you don't have this hole, you're going to have to make it. But don't do it while the intake is on the car... There should be some kinda rubber grommet in the hole already. If there isn't, its not a real injen. |
yea i had the rubber but i lost it. so i dont know what to do now. If i do find it, i just slide it in there? and does anyone know how to shut off that damn engine light? |
you need the sensor in the intake to shut the light off... You'll need that rubber peice. Contact injen and tell them you never got one. They should supply you with one. |
sounds good. how can i contact injen? and also how to get this light off after i get the part? the engine light |
or buy some silicon hose from the auto store and connect it from engine to intake. To reset the engine light (once the sensor is connected), just unplug the negative battery connector OR pull out the FI ECU fuse under hood for a few seconds. |
pop the one out of your stock filter box. |
