'o5 sI or wait...?
 

Just about a year after purchasing my 2004 civic lx sedan, i'm looking to sell/trade-in for something with a little more bang.

I've got my eye on the '05 civic sI's but some argue its not a good platform. Why? I don't think I want to wait a year for the new sI's especially if it looks the way it does... What do you guys think?

it's not gonna be much longer, i think the 06 si's come out in august

Which generation do you like?
02-05 si's are obviously hatch and 06+ will be coupe.
You decide.

06 si probably will be high demand and dealer won't budge on prices.

I think they are both good platforms, the 02-05's have always beeen hawt but thats becaust i like hatches, The 06 is supposed to have more power so if you want teh power wait till october when they come out. Personally I would wait, because once i get my promotion im gonna trade my vic in for a new 06, maybe you just wait till the 06 comes out and test drive one, by that time teh 05 si's will drop in price as well. Just think about it because you dont want to rush big decisions such as cars.

06 will have 200hp and full disc brakes etc.

looks hawt. i'd wait for 06 i even want the 07 haha. i wont buy the 06 :| lol

02-03 si's also have full disc brakes.

I say just wait for the 06's to come out... And if you don't want the 06's when they're out, then you'll be able to get the 05's for a pretty good deal. The dealships will be looking to get rid of the old stock.

hell yea they will want to shove old stock out the door to make room, deff get a good price then. Id wait then choose.
