Side skirts.. FINALLY!
 

I finally got RS side skirts for my car... It took me forever cos I never have money, but I was able to find them on PCPonline for pretty cheap. When I first brought them home, they fit pretty good.. or at least I thought. I dropped it off for paint, and when I tried putting them on it was like they were too short for the length of my car. How could they possibly have shrunk?! Well, anyways, I drilled it, double-sided taped it, and sawed it as best I could.. :shrug:

but paint the front lip too.

If the front lip isn't carbon fiber, I'de paint that, but other than that, it looks really good

my front lip is CF... but I think I'm gonna paint it anyways.

Na... I'd say paint your sideskirt black if anything. Keep the front lip as is.

If you paint your front lip then your wheels will stick out like a sore thumb.

yea those RS kits are made for sedans , so the side are a little short for coupes (i've had them for a little bit)
U gonna paint ur CF lip! heck no man! sell it and buy a different lip or something (prefer oem)

Hey girl, I would paint the side skirts black. That is my opinion tho. Looks nice tho and keep up the good work.

they are less flexable after painting...eventually they will carck.

I actually already have a rear lip. It's on its way to getting painted. It fits like sh!t too... hehehe.. i got it for hella cheap. ;) I'll be sure to post pics when i'm done hacking away at that one. :)

yea paint SS black and get a black rear lip. but looks good if u leave it SSM still looks sexy but yea get a rear lip and it would be ultimite!!!hahaha.

dammit... the SS were black when i got them! haha.. ohh well..

ok heres what you do.. paint the sideskirts and the rear lip black.. and then paint your cf front lip silver.

Nooooo! don't paint the CF lip... Might as well sell it and use part of the money to buy a non cf lip..

why yes i did. and they didn't fit right either... so like.. i had to "modify" them :giggle: .. in other words, i hacked away at the biotch.

Ahem, my cousin just painted one for a WRX 2 weeks ago. He been working autobody and paint for eons...looked pretty sweet too when he was done.

I would not paint the Lip, skirts or tail black, it will take away from the look of
the car and also make it look like its raised...
