what to do....

ok so i have 8300 saved up in my savings account.... what to do... should i spend it on my car or get a new one, then again i have an 04 so its still kinda new. btw when i talk about spending money on my car i mean like, turbo, lambo doors, lip kit, carbon fibor hood, or until my money runs out, lol. just want to see what everybody thinks...

pimpc 04-25-2005 10:50 PM

Get a EG hatchback with a b-series swap

runner1738 04-25-2005 10:50 PM

engine swap? unless your only going for looks , body kit, lambo doors, 18 or 19 inch wheels, new interior, ice

fixeruper 04-25-2005 10:53 PM

already have ice and 17 rims

Skunk2ner 04-25-2005 10:54 PM

K20 swap for sure

pimpc 04-25-2005 10:55 PM

he can do so much more with a hatch with a swap....keep you 04 as a daily driver and go for a second car

fixeruper 04-25-2005 10:56 PM

but then have to insurance bill, lol that would suk, but your right the hatch would do alot.

pimpc 04-25-2005 10:58 PM

Just dont put insurance on it and use it as you weekend car...lol

vtecd17 04-25-2005 11:00 PM

K20 swap wit a mid mileage engine for like 5K, Install 1K=6K

Save more-

Buy Cybernation Motorsports stage 1 turbo kit.

Own everyone.

fixeruper 04-25-2005 11:03 PM

i dont really want to do a swap... yet think more in the line of a turbo if anything, yes i know a k20 w/ i/h/e would be close and if turbod would own all. but... just not really wanting to do that... rather would put a turbo on my 04, i plan on selling my car next summer so thats why i dont want to do a swap

diskreet 04-25-2005 11:05 PM

K20!!!

Vantage 04-25-2005 11:08 PM

id just turbo ur 04, it will make enough power for 99% of people, and if u need more u can always build it up and go high boost. K20 is nice, but it gets more expensive, unless u want ridiculous power. IMO go turbo d17

EM2typeflex 04-25-2005 11:12 PM

K20 Swap

I say since you have the money do a k20 swap. In fact, you should just buy mine. It's a K20A3 w. 6 speed tranny. 2000 firm Complete swap except for wire harness.

fixeruper 04-25-2005 11:30 PM

like i said not really liking the swap idea. but then again maybe i should just hold off and buy a new car in a year (planning on getting a sti)

MYK1013 04-26-2005 12:06 AM

if ur gonna sell it in a year then stop modding it. I'd say wait it out and get that STI you want next year.

cosmo 04-26-2005 12:11 AM

Buy a S2K.

fixeruper 04-26-2005 08:27 AM

agreed i should stop modding...... its so hard and addicting to just stop though.... i break through the addiction though, thanx for the advice guys
