Exhaust Question I was looking on the forum and heard the sound clips of the exhaust and i liked the low sound that Tanabe made. Well I was looking on ebay and found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...969656642&rd=1 Can anyone tell me if this will fit my 02 Civic and if it is legit...It says 102 with free shipping and didn't know if this was too good to be true. Let me know guys. |
thats just the muffler not the whole exhaust.........but you can go with custom piping with that and maybe come out cheaper........and sound just as good |
Thats what i'm doing, custom piping, so does that muffler look like a good buy? Or a fake one? Does Tanabe sound awesome, cause i listened to it and it did, but not sure if they had headers on there too. |
Does anyone else have any suggestions, and also i was wondering where that page with the exhaust sounds was, and if anyone else knew where more were? Does this muffler look like the real deal on the page? |
i have apexi WS and it sounds alright.. its the second quietest next to the rsr. however i paid like 415 bux for it.. and i'm somewhat tired of it now.. and it doesn't really do anything for the car. If i could do it over, i would have saved the money cuz 400 bux is a lot of money. |
That didn't help me out, so you saying that i shouldn't get exhaust and i should save my money, or go with this because it doesn't cost $500? I'm asking if this exhaust is the real deal and is worth the amount its selling for. Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to order this tonight and i'm not getting any answers. |

So is the Tanabe a good exhaust is what i'm asking, is this item on ebay a legit Tanabe exhaust muffler? Pipe Diam. Muffler Diam. Tip Diam. 80mm 140mm 100mm Is the pipe diam too big? I'm not running turbo, but they do make a bigger one. Can someone tell me if this is a good muffler. |
Looks legit to me, Tanabe is a good exhaust. However since it is only the muffler you will need to run custom piping in order for it to sound decent and get a power increase |
i hear good things about tanabe. but i feel skunk2 makes the best muffler. |
