sidemarkers always on or just flashing?

Which would look better? Now I have amber clear markers that flash with signal. Would it look better to be on all the time with parking lights (both matching amber)? Kinda like the TL and crv.

Kizuel 03-23-2005 10:22 PM

Personally, I would have them just flash with the signal.

senseiturtle 03-23-2005 10:23 PM

Flash with signal.

Always running can sometimes look like it was improperly or carelessly installed.

both, DIY a dual filament bulb in there, i did. :)

skipbarber 03-23-2005 10:54 PM

both, without a dual filament. Just have it turn off opposite of the blinker. Thats what im going to do.

gearbox 03-23-2005 11:00 PM

Yuck I tried that both ways thing, but I don't like em alternating. An easy way to do it is hook one wire to green signal, the other to parking light red wire. I like the dual filament idea, but how in the world did you do that?

CarbonFiberSi 03-23-2005 11:20 PM

Just flashing with the signal.

RICE

keep parking lights white, and have the turn signals only come on while using them  :_please:

gearbox 03-24-2005 12:04 AM

well these are amber, it's not like they're ricer white and staying on or regular white like I had before. I guess those cars that have a similar setup stock are also rice too. But meh, i'll just keep em flashing like normal with signals.

gearbox 03-24-2005 12:04 AM

Oh and has anyone seen the new rsx headlights? There is a front facing signal but not visible from the side. I thought legally you had to see the signal flashing from the side.

ImPulse 03-24-2005 12:10 AM

**** the law...

skipbarber 03-24-2005 12:19 AM

arent you a rebel? :giggle:

civicvtec1ps 03-24-2005 12:44 AM

Flash with signals.

jfan 03-24-2005 01:13 AM

I would have them stay on with the parking lights.

skiboard 03-24-2005 01:26 AM

I would make them flashing all the time lol

AzNmiKex215 03-24-2005 01:50 PM

i vote for on with parking lights. And its even better when you have a good amber colored bulb. Not those cheapo clear bulbs that are kinda yellowish, those suck!

macH 03-24-2005 02:11 PM

depends on what look ur going for jdm = flashing with signal and never on with parking light.

i8dabomb 03-24-2005 02:20 PM

flashing

Shifty 03-24-2005 03:53 PM

flash with signals.

P.S. Skiboard, ur sig is funny.....lol

ragingSPAM 03-24-2005 05:57 PM

on all the time and flash with signal...its safer on my car esp since i blacked the housing on my 04 and at night the front turning signal isnt bright enough...daytime u cant even see it other than the filament on

gh0st 03-24-2005 06:32 PM

flash w/ signal only.

bmw style :)

xHoteKx 03-25-2005 11:14 AM

On all the time with the parking lights :)

runner1738 04-20-2005 11:19 AM

i wish i could say both, if you could throw a switch in there, so you can have them on all the time when you want or just with signals
