Just got my radio door installed VAFC. (the radio door on the S2k is cut out and holds the vafc unit in place) I'm actually going to pull out the VAFC and put in the VAFC2 if I can get fitment ok.


Also, just got my invidia dual Ti burnt tip exhaust. Will be installing this tonight. woot.

Also bought an 04-05 S2000 spoiler which should be in next week. And the modding continues!

And here is the exhaust installed on my car. The tone is VERY deep and quite a bit louder than stock.

u know s2000 DO NOT gain anything w/ bolt ons right.

lol actually it's quite the opposite. the S2000 has some of the greatest, if not the greatest, potential of any current honda engine. (even better than the beloved K20)

properly engineered i/h/e parts on the S2k plus a vafc have gained owners as much as 25 wheel horsepower. there is an NA S2000 that just dyno'd at 270 Wheel horsepower with NA mods. (that's +70hp over stock) The mugen S2000 did 330 horsepower NA in its day.

unfortunately many owners simply get what looks/sounds good on their car, and don't pay attention to things that show gains. for example the AEM CAI, spoon/mugen/ricksjdm header gives very significant gains. invidia is also a decent power gain exhaust. i believe the invidia dyno'ed for several owners to the tune of +5 to +7 hp, and +4 lb/ft torque, with the most gains being had in the low and midrange.

actually i decided against that, because i like the look of my 04 radio door, and so i am installing the vafc in the visor. here's a pic of it.
