Who likes my new tint?

I got 35% all around except the front windshield. I really wanted that tinted too but noone will do it :( It's really easy to see out the back and sides at night. Anyway here are pics...

Shifty 03-20-2005 04:36 PM

very sweet, now i have an idea of how dark to go.

Hayz 03-20-2005 04:38 PM

Looking Good  i got 35% too and i love it :sweet:

X-R8ED 03-20-2005 04:39 PM

looks good  . How much did you pay? an do you think they would put like a strip across the top of the windshield or they just wont touch the windshield at all?

Wolfgang5884 03-20-2005 04:40 PM

wow, tint makes a big difference in appearance

jakejham 03-20-2005 04:40 PM

looks nice, too bad about the front tho

gearbox 03-20-2005 04:41 PM

Yea I'm glad I didn't go darker. The next lowest was 20% but they look different on the sample window. I was almost going with 20 and I saw a car they just did 35 and it was plenty dark.

I paid alot, around $250 after tax out the door. But lifetime warranty for anything.

import2nr 03-20-2005 04:45 PM

looks good

visionJDMstyle 03-20-2005 04:50 PM

clean

Shlomo 03-20-2005 04:59 PM

did they tint over the rear brake light? also, where did you get it done?

gearbox 03-20-2005 05:01 PM

They couldn't tint over the brake light without taking the deck out, which is a pain. I got it done at Z-tech in Champaign with the Llumar tint.

Dlmille 03-20-2005 05:01 PM

Looks nice, I went with 15% I think it looks better but that's a personal opinion. Looks great though, anything is better than no tint. Post pics as soon as I have some!

Nameless 03-20-2005 05:38 PM

looks good... hmm the guy that did my tints was able to tint the brake light without taking out the rear deck... :)

_Viper_ 03-20-2005 05:40 PM

Hey gear its the same as mine and in my opinion a look that adds value..not like that shinny shit that you see

white2K2EX 03-20-2005 05:46 PM

Awesome. Most cars don't look right without tint, in my opinion. Looks really nice. I like the shaved trunk, too.

ive heard everyone say its a pain .... i thought this also but today i got it out in about 90 seconds. i dont lie. i think when i bring it to get tinted im gonna remove it cus it bugs me when they skip that section

mugenman 03-20-2005 05:49 PM

looks good man i love my tint

gearbox 03-20-2005 05:50 PM

Then again, in some places tinting over it is illegal cause it's not as bright. I took the deck out once and don't really wanna do it again.

shmik1 03-20-2005 06:00 PM

its sweet :)

gearbox 03-20-2005 06:06 PM

boombazokajoe91 03-20-2005 07:00 PM

i got 35 on my front 2 windsheild and the lil windows in the back seats and the rear window are 20 . yours looks good ..

BigGeorge 03-20-2005 07:06 PM

Looks good man, I have the same set up as you. As soon as I clean the car I will post some pics.

genx_7 03-20-2005 07:50 PM

I'm glad they wouldn't tint the front. That would be just plain stupid

hustlelikem0fo 03-20-2005 07:59 PM

looks really good but 250 is way too much.... maybe it depends on the area. around philly most places charge 180 for everything using llumar tint with lifetime warranty

jojobinx 03-20-2005 08:31 PM

looks good. i guess on the lighter color cars, it shows up darker. my tint is 35% and it looks like crap - it just looks smoked. i hate it. i'm going to have them re-done one of these days and get 15%.

gearbox 03-20-2005 08:42 PM

thanks. If anyone can help, the windows are having a very hard time rolling down. They're getting stuck on the rubber things. What should I do?
