ducky will bust a cap in your ass if you mess with it...

ty.barrack 02-27-2005 04:23 PM

cool but you should move it over closer to the light, and take off as much of the excess cord as you can, that just looks kind of odd. just my 2 cents.

2004CivicHBSi 02-27-2005 04:24 PM

the thing is... those black spots... i dont know what they are for or why they are there... but the radar WONT stick to it.. it just falls right off =(.. any way to get rid of those shaded spots?

ty.barrack 02-27-2005 04:52 PM

no sorry I didn't see that, it's either an anti glare measure, or may have to do with some type of sensor, I wouldn't mess with that., I guess you're just stuck with the big wire.

Blahman2 02-27-2005 05:11 PM

I want to do this too... How did you do it?

i8dabomb 02-27-2005 06:26 PM

just glue it

2004CivicHBSi 02-27-2005 06:53 PM

OR i can use a velcro pad..................... ah ha..

i got the DIY on ephatch.com blahman.. its very easy

Mr.Modify 02-27-2005 06:55 PM

i been meaning to do that when i had one....looks good.

Blahman2 02-27-2005 07:05 PM

can you post a direct link to it on ephatch.com?? Please?

devilvtec 02-27-2005 07:12 PM

I think its for glare, my 01 doesnt have it and when the sun is placed just right it blinds the hell out of me because the visors wont block the sun from that spot over the mirror.

icedcoco 02-27-2005 10:49 PM

zachgeyer 02-27-2005 11:34 PM

now it get stolen

2004CivicHBSi 02-28-2005 09:13 AM

It took me about 25 mins. I just wanted to be safe so and I don't have a printer so I had to run back in just to check on certain stuff. Once you cut the wires its pretty easy.. so
