Accident with plow truck UPDATE - pics on 2
 

My wife got into an accident yesterday with one of those huge county plow trucks. Totally his fault; he backed into her. The damage is all from his salt spreader.
I've always liked the clean OEM look, but now I'm thinking a carbon fiber hood might look nice on white. Another thought was to get the Hybrid bumper. The thing that sucks is that now I'm stuck with one cleared headlight.

I need a new radiator too, so I'm thinking Koyo. I know a stock one would be sufficient, but hey why not get something out of this mess.
Any other thoughts?

def get the hybrid front, and if you get the CF hood, black out the headlights :)

Much suckage... get a new grill while your at it and some TYC's.

If I get the Hybrid bumper, the grille is part of it.

Look at the bright side, you can get a cf hood and a body kit.

Yeah I hope your insurace covers that too. If not sell it on ebay and make some quick cash.

Get the hybrid front and carbon fiber hood then black out your headlights and your set ;]

your new mirrors wouldn't have a white base flange like those on the hybrid - they're black. though the rest is white.

i think hes just talkin about gettin the hybrid front bumper.

oh, that sucks btw, but your car will look better than before when its done.

Now I need to find someone to paint it. Does anyone know about how much it would cost?

if the city / insurance is paying for it may aswell have the entire car repainted, my body shop said for a proper paint job it be about 2-2.5 grand cdn. Could get your self a nice custom color

Probably looking at like a grand to paint just the new peices.

Be sure to choose a reputable paint shop, dont go to macco or some crap like that

and btw, stay away from CF :flush:

dont be too mad at the city, if those trucks are anywhere as near as the trucks we have here in Toronto, I can understand a driver not being able to see your white car on a snowy day.
