Don't really care for, they look dull when you look at the car. Just IMO though

R1Style 02-23-2005 09:52 AM

where'd you get the bulbs from?

Caucasian.Asian 02-23-2005 09:56 AM

my sisters husband. they're just covers that go over the bulb, i'm thinking about selling some for $30 including shipping if anyone is interested...
oh, and the pictures show exactly how they light up.

Michalo187 02-23-2005 09:58 AM

They are alright.

silverem2 02-23-2005 10:02 AM

I think they look pretty good, how is the visibility compared to regular?

Caucasian.Asian 02-23-2005 10:07 AM

visibility is pretty good considering there is something covering th bulb. street signs light up FAR away. (maybe i'll try and take a pic of that) i was driving last night behind a car, about 10 - 15 cars ahead of me, and my lights were lighting up signs that were 5 cars in front of him.
i'm getting some hyper white piaa's in this week so i'm hoping it will make it brighter. i swear every white car last night looked yellow. lol

silverem2 02-23-2005 10:26 AM

didnt get flashed or anything? Ive been thinking about getting Impulse's Mtec Golden Yellow, but have yet to see a shot of them

Al Gore FTW 02-23-2005 10:32 AM

looks pretty sweet, are those covers available in black? I saw some on ebay that were available in black, yellow, blue and clear. Just wondering.

Caucasian.Asian 02-23-2005 10:33 AM

nope, no flash. just factory headlight bulbs and the covers.
i just took some day time, they'll be uploaded in a second..

i've never seen black, but idk. wouldn't that just decrease light output?

Al Gore FTW 02-23-2005 10:40 AM

yeah, probably would, but im gettin HIDs soon, and im gonna tint my tails, i think it might look pretty sweet with tinted headlights. idk lol

silverem2 02-23-2005 10:41 AM

awaiting pics

MishBallzEM2 02-23-2005 10:42 AM

you know what might make them look a little better if you have some like hyperblue fogs underneath imo

Caucasian.Asian 02-23-2005 10:48 AM

Al Gore FTW 02-23-2005 10:52 AM

oh, i just re-read it, the covers go over the bulb, not the lamp...my bad

Al Gore FTW 02-23-2005 10:53 AM

looks pretty sweet btw

HondaKorn 02-23-2005 01:10 PM

are they the same glass yellow covers like they sell on http://www.suvlights.com/ for 9$? looks good btw....

pbfoot 02-23-2005 01:14 PM

so, youre purposely trying to make your lights less bright? ok.... :susp: :_please:

silverem2 02-23-2005 03:40 PM

they wont make any lesss of light, but they WILL increase the visibility when it comes to any fog or bad weather conditions.

stroked_monkey 02-23-2005 03:55 PM

they look pretty good, its different. i like it

PlasmaGT 02-23-2005 04:57 PM

 I've been using yellow bulbs for over a year. They perform very well in the fog.

ive got something like that...but mine are actual bulbs. i bought the bulbs for $25 so IMO ur price is a little steep...for something thats not as bright. (not tryin' to knock on...just letting it be known)http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...C02717-med.JPG

isuzu 5000, are those impulse's mtec bulbs?

silverem2 02-23-2005 05:27 PM

and can we have a lighting showing how it lights up the ground?

Octane Joe 02-23-2005 05:27 PM

^^^Technecily it would be cheaper to get the cover since you can get standard lights for under $10 and the cover is re-useable, so in the long run the cover is more cost efficent...

silverem2 02-23-2005 05:29 PM

but its true that they wont be AS bright, because there is only a tiny film, on the bulbs and this is a mm thick glass case

Octane Joe 02-23-2005 05:35 PM

^^^very true, just playing devil's advocate(sp?)... Im good at that and get paid for it :)
