**UPDATE**JDM Yellow Bulbs (sorry 56k)

I finally got my bulbs in. They're yellow jdm style. They're amazingly bright. I'll take night shots tomorrow for ya'll. I talked to a state trooper and he told me that they are legal as long as they are not Blue, Red, or Green. What do ya' think?

interesting...hows the visibility with those things.

TemjinX2 02-20-2005 03:53 AM

I'm not into yellow and your going to lose some luminance when compared to stock. But if you like it then thats coo.

jttegx 02-20-2005 04:00 AM

there different, i like. its usually white/blue headlight bulbs and yellow fogs.

im curious to know hows the visibility with those during rain and nights too

ragingSPAM 02-20-2005 05:21 AM

yellow is one of the best colors for rain/fog and low visibility conditions

FuzzBeC00L 02-20-2005 05:41 AM

they look good

7gencivicboi 02-20-2005 09:17 AM

nice, i have the same exact ones but they blew out in about 5 days after I put them on. I replaced them with the same brand again and its still running strong. Its gonna be very bright when u have them on at night "looks like high beam even though if u put in low"

HondaKorn 02-20-2005 09:27 AM

reel nice! i wanna see nite shots..

abmerop18 02-20-2005 09:38 AM

isuzu5000 02-20-2005 09:55 AM

i'm taking pics tonight so you'll see how bright they are. i can actually see alot better w/ these compared to the "xenon" blue ones that i used to have. these are specially made for better visibility in the rain and snow. it seems like they illuminate everything up alot more but it might just be b/c you notice the yellow reflections more.

R1Style 02-20-2005 02:49 PM

Nice... where'd you get them? eBay?

injencivic 02-20-2005 02:58 PM

you shouda got foglights with those in them... Oh wait... Thats what i am fixing to do... lmao

Injen

isuzu5000 02-20-2005 03:02 PM

r1style: i got them off of ebay. so far they seem to be really good quality. nokya seems to be one of the better ones IMO.
im gonna get fogs later on.
after i do a swap and some other cosmetic stuff.
who knows how long that'll be.

So purple headlights are legal?

btw, your yellow headlights looks nice.

isuzu5000 02-21-2005 12:34 AM

thanks for the props and yes purple is legal. but see your not going to find actual "purple" headlights. i've got two friends who put them in their cars. they look alot better than the "hyper white" or "hyper blue" ones b/c they seem to sort of change colors from different angles. its more of like purplish blue. go for it man...i'd get nokya...really good quality.

zachgeyer 02-21-2005 01:27 AM

daamm

AlienX 02-21-2005 02:20 AM

would be nice to get some H1s for TYC high beam...

def01tones 02-21-2005 05:08 AM

those look sweet! but i've always had problems with nokya. i would get their blue ones and one bulb would always go out in like a month or two. then after using the blue ones for a few months the fvckers shorted my high beam switch which i replaced from ebay for ONE PENNY!! damn i love ebay! now im back to stock bulbs and havent had one problem for bout a year now. nokya.....blah!

MYK1013 02-21-2005 05:13 AM

Not a fan of yellow headlights. But Yellow fogs =SWEET!

civicvtec1ps 02-21-2005 06:55 AM

Yea, they are legal.

I was suprised how much better visibility they provide compare to stock bulbs.
I am using Luminics 3750k and they have been great.

Hopefully they will last long until i can find good deal on veleo projectors :sweet:

02civic_rida 02-21-2005 07:23 AM

I dont like the reflection of the Yellow bulb when they are off, other than that, not bad for halogens... shoulda got yellow HID's heheehhe, yea yea i know they are a lil on the pricey side, but any whoo..... not bad...

isuzu5000 02-21-2005 12:10 PM

lemmie see lemmie see!!! cuz i was debating on getting those too.
thanks for all the props guys.
02civicrida: what do you mean the reflection. like the way they look in the headlight casing during the day time? mine look sweet w/ the graphite headlights

02civic_rida 02-21-2005 12:20 PM

^^ yea the headlights themselves look good (they are just like mine, AMBER IN !!! the way it should be, hehehehhe), but i guess i dont like seeing a colored reflecion like ur yellow and those who have the blue headlights too....

Blahman2 02-21-2005 12:28 PM

I'm not a fan of yellow... But I'll bet they slice through fog!

thomusvoo 02-21-2005 02:55 PM

wouldnt it be a cop magnet?

jfan 02-21-2005 03:07 PM

I am surprised that nobody has commented on the deliberate positioning of the bulbs in the package in front of the desktop wallpaper yet...

Looks good though!
